Didn't love the HS frozen sing a long. What did you think?

We just got back from our trip. We got a fp for the frozen sing a long at HS. It was the last thing on our itinerary for the day. We waited around for it in the rain. And stood in line in the rain for it. And we were so disappointed. My daughter liked it, so I guess that's all that mattered in the end. But my husband and I thought it was so poorly done. Anna makes a quick appearance at the beginning and at the end with Elsa. But throughout it's just some other people narrating. And snips of the movie.

Just curious what others thought?

Honestly, I was disappointed as well. Nothing prepares you for how little time A&E spend on stage and how little they themselves sing along with the crowd.

That being said...the kids didn't complain and loved it.

I wasn't dissapointed, but I had read beforehand that the sisters didn't appear for very long. Most importantly, my daughter loved it.

Surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed the Sing-Along, which is a funny and endearing stage show. Note that Elsa only appears for about five minutes at the end. Anna is on stage for around seven minutes and Kristoff is around for about the same amount of time.

Yes, I'd read that, too, but being there and actually experiencing how little stage time the sisters have is different than reading a review. That's what I meant in my post.

It's funny I read up on or watched on you tube pretty much every other ride/ attraction but this one. Lol.

We went into it with very low expectations. DH and I had visions of a bouncing ball under words with very little else and being surrounded by a ton of pre-schoolers screaming frozen songs at the top of their lungs.

Maybe as a result of going in with the low expectations, we loved it. We liked that the storytellers had some humor that was geared toward the adults in the audience. We thought the storytellers were funny. We liked that Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff showed up. We thought the computer generated backgrounds that went with the story were nice. We were surprised to find that however they did the sound system it manages to cover the sounds of screaming preschoolers, so you still hear the music, without the music being overly loud. DH and I would both go see it again without complaint, and DD loved it.

We had watched portions of it online, so we knew what to expect. Our daughter, age 5, loved it. But, I was surprised that my husband also really enjoyed it. He liked the comedy/humor aspect that the storytellers brought. He said he had seen Frozen so many times that he enjoyed the different way it was told at the sing-a-long.

We all loved it. We had no expectations going in. DH and I thought it was hilarious.

I enjoyed it very much. I like the music and characters and I thought the skit was cute and humorous. It was fun to watch everyone around us, young and old, participate in the singing. There were those who knew every word and really bellowing out the songs and grandpas giving a really good effort to keep up...kind of moving, actually. I also thought is was good dramatic effect to save Elsa for the end; and when she used her magic in the finale, it was enough to put some tears in my eyes. I get emotional at Disney, though :)

I liked it. The humor for adults was great and everyone enjoyed the singing. It was great to see smiles on so many. Not just the children but us old folks too. The snow falling added even more to the magic. My husband and I saw it twice.

I just selected my FPs this morning and the sing a long was one of the ones I got for our DHS day. My DD11 is a huge fan of the movie so I did it mainly for her. Thank you everyone for the heads up, I had no idea that A&E were only on stage for a very short time. Out of curiosity, for those that have gotten the FP+ for the show, where exactly are you seated? Is it in a good viewing area?

I like it.

I don't think there is an attraction that has a 100% approval rating. Different strokes for different folks.

The closer you are to the front of the FP line, the better your seats. The first 7 or 8 rows in the center are roped off for the Premium Frozen package people so the best you could get with a FP is one of the sides or the middle area about 9 rows back.

Fast pass seats are in the center area close to the front.

We used a FP last week and ended up in the back section. It was a waste of a FP. Took longer to get in and no special seating area.

You can sit anywhere once you are inside (like Nemo at AK). The center seats fill up, and stay away from the side seats. I prefer to go all the way back so I stay center stage.

The first two times I saw it, I was doing the Frozen Summer package and I was seating in the second row (first row held for special needs). The next time I was pretty far back in the stand by line and as a solo, I was directed to an aisle seat off to the side. The next two times after that, I choose the bleacher seating center stage. Great line of sight and close to the exit. But you don't get much of the "snow" back there.

Thank you, this helps
