Ok i admit I've only watched this show a handful of times, but my word that man last night; what a jerk. That wife needs to take the show up on the counseling and build up her self esteem and get the heck out of that marriage. I couldn't believe the way the husband talked down to her. He didn't even try to do the challenges and cut things out of the budget and live on the cash jars. Just wow didn't he realize he was going to be on tv and his friends, family, coworkers and neighbors would be watching him:scared1:

I'm glad the show didn't end up giving them the 5k to put towards their debt but I wonder if they will end up filing bankruptcy again and losing this house. I went to bed so not sure if the second 1/2 continued with their story?

I watched! Ya, that guy certainly needed some pixie dust sprinkled all over him :wizard: The second half was a younger couple and they did what they needed to do and I think they got all the money? Wait, maybe just $4000. Anyway, I know that we're far from perfect but I always feel so good after I watch that show:rotfl2:

I love "Til Debt Do Us Part"! I've been watching it for a few months and last night's episode with the JERK was the first time I've seen Gail give no check at the end. But, they didn't deserve it.

lulu2 - She did give the young couple $4000 at the end of their episode. She didn't give them the full $5000 because the husband was supposed to get another job bringing in another (net) $900/month for debt repayment and he didn't get one.

My DD (12) watches the show with me (as well as the Suze Orman show) and she hates the theme music "moneymoneymoneymoneymoneymoneymoneeeeeey". :lmao:

Yup. Same feeling I get from watching 'What Not to Wear,' and 'Clean Sweep.'

"Well, at least I'm not THAT bad!"

I didn't realize it had been on for a long time. I DVRed 3 episodes and watched them last night.

Whoa, I thought my memory was really getting bad until I realized this was an old thread.
