It was fun seeing the parks really decorated for the holiday.

I was amused by a gaffe in describing the Mad Hatter's outfit. Nick Cannon referred to the 10/6 tag on his hat as being the size. :rotfl:

I didn't sit and watch the whole thing, but it was on in the background, and I'd sit when something I was interested in (like ABD!) was on.

Sayhello

We had it on as background noise. Watched it a bit at a time. I did like to see the parks decorated. I really need to get there during the holidays some year!

I DVR'd it and we watched it after our quiet dinner last night.
That way we could fast forward through the commercials and some of the songs too. We did watch all the segments with the very pregnant Samantha Brown (ABD, DCL, DVC, etc.).
It was fun to see the parks looking so pretty and festive!

That's not right it's the cost of it. It means 10 shillings and six pence.

Main Street looked so pretty and the parades were so fun. We didn't think much of the entertainment or the hosts. We laughed at the editing--sometimes the skies were clear and bright blue; at others, sometimes in the very next shot, they were cloudy and grey. The show helped get us even more excited for our vacay next week!

I watched it. I have to admit, the Backstreet Boys were kinda good. I loved seeing all the "moms" up front!!!

We're there in 13 days for Marathon Weekend and it was fun to see it all and get excited about it! 10 trips in the books and I still get giddy when I think about going back!

Did you notice the clocks were covered with wreaths? You could not see what time it was.

We had it on the whole time, but I missed a good chunck of it doing things...

I missed it. I forgot all about it until 11:15am.

Then I put it on but I was busy in the kitchen (no TV in kitchen at our house) getting everything together for the Christmas brunch.

I tried to DVR the west coast feed but DTV wouldn't let me so I missed out this year.

Even though its basically a big add for disney. I absolutely love it! Only thing I wish was that they had shown more of the actual parade.

It was awesome! Disney does a great job decorating the parks for the holidays! :)

That's probably because they have to tape thing multiple times over, I think they even put the hand on Cinderella castle at 12:00 all day when they tape the parade so no one at home can tell when things were taped.

Is there somewhere we can veiw it online?! I forgott to set DVR!

We love the parade but a couple years ago the local affiliate opted to make Christmas programming all infomercials and no longer carry it. Does anyone know if I can stream, buy or watch the replay somewhere? Commercial or not we love the parade.

If you were to do a Google video search for "disney christmas day parade 2012" you might just find a youtube video of it.

I DVR'd it and watched it later. I was really impressed that most of the singers did not lip synch this year. That was refreshing! I love the parade! I don't care if it is a 2 hour commercial!

I slept through most of it. When I woke up it was on in the living room and I wished I'd dragged myself out of bed to watch it. I've watched the trip planning DVDs for fun, so a two hour commercial with a parade attached is just fine with me.
