Do not read if you have not watched the show yet.....
With how they "cliffhang" us going to commercial.
This world-renowned Dr falls in love with a little boy with a deformed leg from Africa. He was in the middle of a break-up with his long time girlfriend, they had actually broken up. But he calls her and tells her about this little boy, he is trying to get him home to the states, so his leg can be fixed. The boy's mom was killed and his dad had abandoned him. The Dr. ends up leaving his career, and adopting this little boy with his girlfriend. (they stayed broken up, but both adopted him).
It was a heart warming story...I was really happy for this boy who is a great kid, and now has a fixed leg, and two loving parents. So what does 20/20 do going into commercial? Just as we are about to find out the official status of the boy and this family, 20/20 announces bio dad has found his way into the picture, they show a picture of "dad" and go to commercial. So, all during the commercial, I am stressing, that bio-dad wants to have this boy back in Africa, when he has everything going for him here, ect. My heart was racing a mile a minute.
Show comes back on, and come to find out bio-dad gave his full blessings for the adoption, and he is thrilled that his boy will be the 1st in his family to go to college. AAARRRGGGH. Why did they make me worry like that?
