I never thought I'd be spending so much time on these boards.
I was in a hurry to register because I wanted to rent some points from a DVC owner.
Every name I tried was taken so I ended up with the one I have.
I've thought about changing it but I'm used to it now.

Some people have really clever names!
Like "Walt's Frozen Head".

My oldest DS helped register me for the DIS 'cause at that time I could barely turn on a computer so he went ahead and used Kitty (my nickname) and 34 (his basketball jersey #).

I've had this User Name for 3 years and like it!

When I registered, this was the name I wanted, but now I don't like it. I was like 13 at the time and thought that *NSYNC would be the greatest band in the world forever and I would never stop liking them....but needless to say I've moved on lol. On AIM and most other discussion boards, etc. I use SweetLilBecca05.

Unlike some other boards, you can not change your displayed name on the DIS. I used the same displayed name on 3 Disney boards, but decided to have a different name on each board. So, back in 2001 I just reregistered here on the DIS and started from scratch. Every now and then I look up the old one. It's still there, just has not posted since December 2001. We probably have only half of the members displayed as a lot of people have several log on ID's depending on their mood that day.

I am one of many "goofy" people here: goofyish, goofy4disney, goofyme, goofy4tink, etc

Strangely enough, there's someone on the DIS with the name Stacey C., its not me, but that is exactly my real name! It feels strange whenever I see that person post!

Well when I first came to the DIS, I was Andrea16, but everyone kept thinking I was 16 yrs old (ah, to dream). So, I changed it to Minnesota!. I love (most of the time) where I live, and am proud to be a Minnesotan (most of the time). On most of my other boards I am either Minniesota or Andrea Soup. I have thought about reregistering. But it has taken me this long to get to 500 posts, I cannot imagine starting all over again I would have to post a lot of fluff!

My first user name was my real first name, Katholyn. About one week after I registered from the DIS there was a terrible board crash. It had only been one week, maybe only 5 days, and I was sorely addicted. I can remember the withdrawal symptoms

At any rate, when the boards came back up I couldn't use my original user name, I kept getting the message that the name was taken (and it was, by me). So I just registered again, chose the name nativetxn and the rest is history

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everytime I tried a name it was taken so I just put in something stupid and of course it took.

I got the name I wanted (twice actually since I lost it once in a crash), but every now and then I wish I could be either Elaine or Elaine Bear (or the like)

I wanted to be DizneyDawn, but there was already a DisneyDawn, and I was afraid people would mix us up so I added my home state, SC to make SCDizneyDawn! But, everyother board I have ever registered on, I am DizneyDawn

Actually, when I registered, I didn't think that much about it. I'd been lurking for several months and wanted to ask a question for my upcoming trip. I didn't really think I'd be posting much, so it didn't matter what my name was. "Diane" was, of course, the first thing that came to mind. Sometimes, I've wished I had a "cool" name, but I guess it doesn't really matter.
