We are booked May 9-15 at the CR in a MK view Atrium level room. I called and talked to Disney and was on my cell phone for 1 1/2 hour. When I first asked him about adding the offer to my package I told him that I only wanted to do it if we could keep the room that we already had booked. It took at least 20 minutes for him to find my reservation. Then after telling me several times that I could apply the offer with no problem, he said it would add $800 to what I currently owe to add the package. He said that it was b/c the room we had booked wasn't apart of the offer, and it was the additional cost of the room. Since my DH didn't want to change the room, we couldn't take the offer.

Can I retract my vote? lol Saving $360 ended up sounding pretty good after a while and if the AP rate ends up being better when it's released we'll switch to that.

We were already booked on the 7 night Eastern Cruise (Tortola) for late April/May and I had been trying to convince my partner we needed to add a few WDW days since we'll be there already. This promo sealed the deal! We added seven nights at POP with hopper tix and regular dining plan for the new of us for the price of my last 5 night solo trip. I'm so excited to show him "The World" for the first time! :goodvibes

Just modified my existing January ressie and upgraded to the Poly for $700 less money and then getting the GC on top of it! I am super excited!!

That's what I'm going to do. I had already thought about going in May, but was waiting for an AP discount. I went ahead and booked yesterday, but will cancel if the AP discounts are better. Of course, we already have the bounce back offer for Sept, that we booked this past Sept, so it looks like I'd better get busy planning both upcoming trips.

Two weeks ago, I had booked a room at the GF for my wife and 18 month old for January 6-13th. I am an airline employee and got about a 40% discount at GF. The thing about the airline discount is that it's a room only discount and you can't add any dining plan. We looked at the places we were going to eat and the dining plan was clearly going to save us some money. Then this deal came out.

Woo Hoo! I was able to modify my airline discount reservation to a regular reservation with this deal. I wound up paying slightly less for the room (over the airline rate), got to add the dining plan (which we wanted but couldn't get before) and got three days worth of free tickets. Oh, and a $200 gift card. Ka-ching!

Thanks for the deal Disney....I know we were coming anyway, for those exact dates, and that exact room....but I'll take the savings.

I did. I went from a 12 night stay in a family suite at ASMu w/deluxe dining to a ten day stay (that's the maximum number of nights for this promo) at AKL with deluxe dining (two rooms).

We decided to pass on this deal and wait for September like we had originally planned.

Yes, we did. We were booked for end of April - May anyway on a AAA room only reservation. New deal saved us about $1000 and essentially got us our park hopper with water park and more tix for free. Worked out well for us.

We are already booked with our DVC points for August, and all 3 of us already have airfare. (Which was stupid. I should have waited on the airfare, but that's another thread.)

I looked at the calendar all morning yesterday trying to figure out how to work a 7 night trip and I couldn't, no matter how I twisted it. The only week we could go is Spring Break, and the airfare would STOMP us. DH has to bid for vacation, and that won't happen for another month, so he might not even be able to get Spring Break week off.

Our APs expired, and I don't want to buy new ones until next August so we can use them for 2009 and 2010. If we went on the "special deal" we would have to actually use the tickets in the package.

If there was a deal that made sense for less than 7 nights I might keep trying, but this just doesn't work for us.

I changed my ressies from CBR for 6 nights in Jan. to 7 nights in June to Poly. With PH and more. This way we will have longer hours in the parks and will be able to go to water parks. It will be more crowed but who could resist 3days free at the Poly. Now my 5 year old won't miss any school!!! Worked out great! I have always wanted to stay there, thought this would be the perfect chance!!!:)

My TA rebook me last night and we have save $615. I was very happy for the offer. We are staying at CSR and thought about upgrading to the AKL but for the same price of the originial package but decided to stay where were we originially booked. :dance3: :cheer2: :cloud9:

Yes I booked yesterday. We were planning on going, DD graduates from HS this year so we were thinking of going for 6 days and staying at the All Stars again, that we love. But then when I saw the deal the ball started rolling and we ended up CR garden view for 7 nights. :rotfl2:

We were planning a girls only trip for my daughter (graduating this year) her mom and best friend. We were going to book just 4 nights due to cost...but with this deal we are now going for an entire week! It was a *very good deal for us.

Updated our res and only save $100 because we're doing 5 nights (all we can manage) but still... that plus the giftcard equals one happy me! :cool1:

We got a great deal renting points in June at BWV, and found that the new offer will not save us any money.

I told my brother and his family about the new offer, and I think it will help them! :goodvibes
