Woo Hoo! Only a couple of posts here on your TR for me to catch up on and they were mostly Heather and Tammie! :rotfl:

Yay, you made it to WDW with some pullups. I am so with Joseph...I like to do everything in 1 trip to the car no matter how many things I drop along the way!

Glowsticks...guess what stayed in my suitcase the entire trip and never saw the light of day! Kinda like those ponchos!

He did regret it once we got back to the room.

Hooray for pull-ups!! :thumbsup2

I know the bouncing in your seat feeling of excitement! Love the sweet story of your mom enjoying your excitement! :goodvibes

Glad you got your computer fixed up and I'm sorry you have had such a crazy work schedule!

I ALWAYS have a crazy work schedule.. Imagine mine and then adding Buddys to the mix who works weekly always changing schedules!

Joining in !! Love your report so far. :thumbsup2

:welcome: Hope your still sticking with me. I promise more updates to come!

Tried the Tammie cliffhanger....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

yep, I am blonde takes me some time to notice little comments in your posts!

I agree with Amy's comment to this...
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are so lucky that Buddy does computers because it costs us $150 to wipe out the comp and reprogram and you have to pay extra for certain programs!

I love your mom's comments... I am honestly on edge to see if that was enough pull ups by the end of the trip! I am always a buy more now and give the extras away type girl! And we never used the glow sticks- like Tammie I forgot that I had one pack for everyday! Oh my another one with the cliff hangers... Just kidding! I like the suspense!

I normally am too. We shall see how the trip went...

Haha.. I know.. It's not as daunting trying to catch up with some of ours like is with Ann's or Tammie's.... :rolleyes1

Just chatting with you about needing to get caught up... so nice of you to wait till I had a moment to get back on here before posting an update. :rotfl2:

Now to get caught up on other threads.. probably won't be so easy. ;)

Ok I will jump back in. I'll go back and do a RL update after for those of you who I'm not in everyday contact with on FB.

So we dropped our bags in the room... Sadly I didn't take a room number picture. We were in the Mogli and Baloo Building. Very close access to Everything Pop!

So we head off to the bus stop for...

EPCOT! We get there with no problems.
First Disney Park Picture... and the sun is in our eyes!!

It was all smiles....
.. until I realize I've left the booklet with our dining confirmation numbers in the room!!!! Small melt down ensues. I couldn't pull it up on my phone, so I text my best friend Lindsay and Buddy's roommates girlfriend Nicole. "Can you get online for me?" The girlfriends calls me to get exact directions to get to the page and get logged in. We proceed to get in line for SE. My brother wanted to do this one first with her. I didn't argue, but I'm on the phone walking Nicole through the log in process and how to get to the ADR stuff.

We load onto the ride, me and Alexa in the back and Mom and Joseph in the front. Nicole finally got it and is going to take a picture and send it to me, and she is still on the phone with me as we are going up the incline. Alexa starts SCREAMING because its in the dark. I quickly get off the phone and proceed to spaz out looking in the princess booksack to find a glowstick. Finally find and pop one. Crisis averted. Well, she is on my lap clutching the glowstick for dear life... but there was no more screaming. The touch screen was nice... except when she was screaming, I was looking for the glow stick, so we were both below the camera level.

So since crisis averted we decided it was time to use some CS credits and see how that all worked...

So we went to the Sunshine Seasons Food Court area of the land.
We had a little issue with not realizing we needed to have desserts to use the CS credits. So we went and picked out 3 things.
Joseph and Mom got the Ginger Mongolian Beef (not my picture.)
thumbnail.aspx

I got the Turkey and Monterrey Sandwich. (I had forgotten to take pics before we started eating.)

Alexa ate one bite of mine. A lot of rice and some of the beef. And then..
009.jpg

Yes.. Joseph is petting the Rice Krispie. Even though he got a cookie for his dessert! Mom got an Eclair.

Then its off to Living with the Land...

We had to convince Alexa that it was okay. That it wasn't going to be dark.... as she still clutches her glowstick.
We get on the boat and for some reason every man decides to sit on the right side.. and the boat almost tips over... This apparently becomes a tread with Joseph being in the boat. So after some scooting around, we are off.
Alexa loved this ride. Seeing all the fruit and veggie plants/trees. Loved seeing the fish and alligators. So YAY we aren't scared of every ride.

Off we go to
011.jpg

the Seas with Nemo. As we get in line, Alexa is given the red lanyard to do the ride timer. We bob and weave until we get to the actual little bit of a line. And Alexa decides its time to hide behind me, and do what 2 and 3 year olds do when they hide :sad2:. I apologize to everyone standing around us. We hand the attendant the lanyard, get in our clam, and Joseph and Mom get in a clam with one in between us... Must have been Joseph's doing to not catch anymore whiffs. So they head off to see the wait for Crush and we head to the bathroom. We wait for a little baby to get changed. Maybe a year old. I think Alexa got a little embarrassed to be put up on the changing table like that baby.

We walked back out to find Mom and Joseph. A Turtle Talk had just let in so it would be like a 20 minute wait, so we walked around a bit. She found Dory and Nemo and Marlin in the tanks.
Then we went to wait on Crush! We get in the auditorium, and Alexa loved getting to sit by herself.

(With the glow stick of course.)

Well here we see a very sad Disney Memory for a family. They are waiting for a last family to come down the walk through, and the little girl (probably between 20-24 months) was on her daddy's shoulders... I'm sure you all can see where this is going... :scared:

He was going to just clear her head under the doorway. I think he thought she was going to hit her head, so at the last second he lifts her up to lift her off and WHAM. I'm talking one of those slow motion things where you hear everyone in the room gasp. Poor baby didn't even make a sound. A CM rushed them back the way they had come to go handle the situation. We never saw them or heard her when we came back out, so we can only hope she was okay.

We all loved Crush. Alexa held her hand up the last two times, but didn't get picked. She comes up crying after the show because she didn't get to ask Crush her question. She couldn't even tell us what her question was going to be. She just said she had wanted to talk to him, poor thing.

After Nemo, we decided to go explore our imaginations with Figment. Alexa was okay with everything but the Stinky part and the train thing. But she was cool cause she had her glow stick!

Next we decided to off to the WS to start exploring until our ADR...
We also had the biggest melt down of the entire trip...... What could it have possibly have been over?

Love the cliff hanger!!!;)

The picture of Joseph and Alexa is so sweet...what a great uncle! Great save mom with the light sticks...I would have never thought of that. :worship: At least you had pullups to take care of the stinky.

Why is Joseph petting the rice krispe?

I think all the issue you had to get the ADRs I would have just decided to go back to POP, but your plan worked, although it was long and fustrating!

Spaceship Earth is one of my little boy's favorite rides! I'm glad you had the glow stick to help her feel more comfortable on the ride. I may bring one with us on our next trip in case my son freaks out on his 1st Haunted Mansion ride.

Glad she liked the other rides. My son doesn't like the train part on Figment either.

Can't wait to hear about this meltdown!

Good call on the glow sticks. I'm sure they really helped you or over the course of you're trip.

I don't think anybody likes the skunk part of Figment.

Nice cliffhanger, Ash!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a good, normal Epcot day! I would have never thought to use glow sticks to help with the dark! And oh how I wish when my kids were younger that I had! :sad2: Good save!!!

I'm sorry she didn't get to talk to Crush either... cute that she wanted to so much! :goodvibes

Subbing...loving your report so far! popcorn::

:welcome: Thank you for jumping on. It's been few an far for updates lately. I think they will be faster now that we've "actually got to Disney".

Just chatting with you about needing to get caught up... so nice of you to wait till I had a moment to get back on here before posting an update. :rotfl2:

Haha Ann. You know it was for you :rolleyes1. Now I'm going to get caught up on everyone elses, and maybe maybe post another update tonight... But no one hold their breath for it haha

Hi Ashley!!! :wave2: Just checking in!

Thanks Amy!!!

Love the cliff hanger!!!;)

I'm trying :)

He is a really good uncle.
Ty,. found the Glow sticks for $.26 each after halloween.
Yes, we had pullups!

Why is Joseph petting the rice krispe?

We absolutely LOVE Disney Rice Krispies.

I think all the issue you had to get the ADRs I would have just decided to go back to POP, but your plan worked, although it was long and fustrating!

This will come back to be a :headache: moment.

Spaceship Earth is one of my little boy's favorite rides! I'm glad you had the glow stick to help her feel more comfortable on the ride. I may bring one with us on our next trip in case my son freaks out on his 1st Haunted Mansion ride.

Would recommend some glow sticks to ANYONE with kids under 4-5 or who scare easily or have dark issues. Hmm 10$ worth of glow sticks or a kid who wont ride any rides on a $$$$$ vacation!

Glad she liked the other rides. My son doesn't like the train part on Figment either.

Can't wait to hear about this meltdown!

Very much in trouble little girl. Very much embarrassed mommy.

Good call on the glow sticks. I'm sure they really helped you or over the course of you're trip.

I don't think anybody likes the skunk part of Figment.

:cool2:

Nice cliffhanger, Ash!! :thumbsup2

 I tried [/COLOR]

Sounds like a good, normal Epcot day! I would have never thought to use glow sticks to help with the dark! And oh how I wish when my kids were younger that I had! :sad2: Good save!!!

I hadn't thought to use them either until I saw some a got a few for Lexa to just play with in the dark at home. And the idea struck that night. I told Buddy "I'm going get a ton of these for our trip." We ended up throwing a ton of the bracelets/necklaces away cause some didnt work/we forgot about them so we had a ton to bring back home. But we took the rest of the actual sticks home to use later.

I'm sorry she didn't get to talk to Crush either... cute that she wanted to so much! :goodvibes

A very nice update! Good thing you brought the glow sticks and I am sorry that she didn't get her question answered! That happened to Damien too- there was a school group there and maybe 10-12 kids in it and they were brought in and allowed to be in the front and most of them were chosen. After the show I saw a few moms stay to complain but we just went! And oh my poor baby! I hope that she was okay!
