We passed ROFR on Sept 11th and are waiting to receive our closing docs from the title company. How about you?

Once your points are loaded, when do you plan on visiting Disney as DVC members for the first time?

Ha! It says "this contract shall be closed on or before 9/19/2014 or within 30 days from when the estoppel information is provided by Disney to the closing company"

If you were notified on the 11th, the estoppel information should come this week. Depending how quickly the title company draws up the documents, you might be signing on Friday and closing by the end of next week.

We were notified of passing last Thursday, the 18th. Our contract says we should close by 10/6. I asked the title agent about it and she said it would be close but we could probably get it all done by then. I can't believe yours says the 19th! I can't imagine they would be able to get it done that quickly, and apparently they couldn't! What a tease!

I completely forgot to mention in my post that our ROFR was delayed after 2.5 weeks We eventually passed but it took longer than 30 days!

Which Title company are you using? It seems some people get their closing docs really fast and others are taking a few weeks. Was just wondering if one company is faster on the title work than others

First American Title in Maitland, FL. I used the same company for my first purchase and seemed to go pretty quick as well

Yes I did pass on 9/11 for a beach club contract but as of 9/27 still no closing docs . leaving in 3 days for a Disney trip , non dvc so if they come when I am gone closing will delayed even more .

Please update when you get your docs! I am a week behind you (passed ROFR on 9/18 with a close date of 10/13) so I am anxious to know when your docs arrive.

Hoping to be set up to book before or right at the 7 month mark for a trip the end of May/beginning of June. Its starting to get a bit close for my liking!

Resales are surely taking a very long time lately.

We purchased our 3rd contract the first week of July.

We waited nearly 3 weeks after ROFR for our closing documents.

And we closed 14 days ago … and still the contract isn't showing in our account and no points.

Started this process the first week of July … still waiting

Possibly end of January, if there is any availability. But most likely either April or sometime in the summer, when our daughter isn't in school.

An update on mine, as I passed ROFR on 9/11.... Yesterday I received in the mail my copy of the closing documents and title information. I also was refunded a $50 estoppel fee as I overpaid in error and thought I had to pay that as well. Just waiting on Disney now to get me the information. I'm not sure if it will be tied to my current DVC account sign in (as different resorts and UY) or if I will get a new membership card. I logged in today and it didn't show my new resort.
