Did you like Vegas or is it just me?

Just got back, and don't plan on ever returning- much better and more for your money vacation options out there.

I love Vegas, but I'm finding as I get older I don't enjoy as much. I'd much rather take my kids to Disneyland. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

In the past we've stayed at:
Excalibur
MGM (2x)
Mandalay Bay (2x) - by far my favorite

We'll be staying at Monte Carlo when we go in a month for DH's 40th b-day. But this will also be our first trip with kids, so it's going to be different for us.

I enjoy playing the slots and roulette, but I find the table games harder to swallow as the minimums keep going up. I enjoy the shopping, the food and just checking out the other hotels.
