It took me a few months to figure that one out. Once I did, it made perfect sense.

Most cars have that arrow but not all of them. It is a handy and inexpensive thing to have on every car. Makes you wonder why some don't have it.

Did you know that we have ear wax to keep bugs from nesting and laying eggs in your ear, or at least on your eardrum. Always wondered why it was there but it makes sense when you remember how our early ancestors lived and slept in the outdoors with there heads on the ground when sleeping.

OK.....been driving for many,many,many years! I cannot believe I did not know this. I feel really stupid!!!!! How many rental cars have I been driving and we have been trying to see out of side mirrors or draped out of windows the first time we have to gas it up to see where the gas tank is??!!! I read this last evening and was anxious to get into my car this morning and look at the dashboard. There it was, right in front of me!! the little gas pump with the little arrow next to it!!!
I met my daughter at the local coffee shop this morning and when she drove into the spot next to me I put my window down and told her to look at the dashboard for this.....she just shook her head too!!! LOL
Thanks for the heads up, how did I not know this?!?!?!? LOL

Did you realize the cardboard holder that aluminum foil and plastic wrap come in have tabs you push in at the end to keep the roll from falling out when you pull?

Well, I do now! I actually just went to the cupboard to look at my boxes, and low & behold...little triangle cutouts "Push tab in to secure end of foil."

There was a thread somewhere about things that came with instructions that one would not think needed it. Maybe I needed it afterall

Did you know that on a Heinz ketchup glass bottle when you initially open it and the ketchup doesn't want to come out there is a Heinz 57 symbol about a 1/3 of the way or so from the top that you tap on and the ketchup will come out of the bottle. I used to stick a butter knife in it to get it started.

I did not know this. For 49 years...OK maybe 39 since I actually probably didn't start using plastic wrap till I was 8 or 10, I have been sweraing at palstic wrap boxes.

It probably works more for newer cars. My 1999 Ford has it, but my wife's 2000 Chevy does not. The older Fords at my work also don't follow the "rule."

My 1998 Explorer has the arrow.

Add when you take axillary/armpit

A in add for Axillay/armpit, thats how we remembered it in nursing school
