He transferred to Mpls South Jr. Year, though, away from DH's school.
Kim, I loved that Bubble Boy movie.
This is funny, since I read his book on writing. He talks about his time as a teacher and how much he hated it. And he was very low paid and used to go home to his horrible trailer and write Carrie leaning on the dryer. If you ever get a chance read this book. You will have a new respect for Stephen King. He overcame incredible odds and was a truly dedicated hard worker. The fact that he and his wife's marriage lasted thru those really tough times is an incredible testimony.Stephen King used to teach at my high school while he wrote Carrie (he actually lives one street over from me now.)

I actually played a small part in helping some people become famous. I was a DJ at a radio station in Harrisburg, PA when a local band called "Fuel" sent me their demo. I had gotten to know them from their weekly gig at an area night club which I hosted on behalf of the station. I thought their stuff was great and I passed it on to my boss. We started playing their song "Shimmer", and within 6 months they were signed to Sony and were producing their first CD whch ended up going Platinum.
