Did you have this problem at S/D?

Last nite as my husband and I were trying to decide where to stay, he reminded me of an unpleasant "issue" we had at the Dolphin.

Since the A/C unit would turn off during the day because the door wasn't deadbolted, our sheets were damp in the evening. Yuck! I felt like I was camping - the bed felt wet. As a result, we would lower the temp in the room to cool it off faster and try to rid the sheets on the dampness. Then about 3:00am we would awake with ice cubes for toes.

Ok....Did any of you experience this? Was anyone able to solve it?

Thanks!

We stayed at the Swan June, 2001 and LOVED this hotel! We did not have a problem like you described. However, one afternoon we returned to the room and it was kind of warm. We called downstairs and they sent someone up from maintenance within a few minutes. We had not locked the sliding door to the balcony and it would not let the a/c kick on. As soon as he locked it, the a/c kicked on and the room got cool rather quickly.

I've had the thing where I didn't have the balcony door locked and the room would be warm, but, never a damp bed.

I quickly learned to make sure the door was closed securely before leaving for the parks!

The AC is not linked to the hallway entrance door.
