My dad called ( and still does) me firecracker, he says I am the light of his life...
My grandmother (passed) called me Terikins...and now DBF is trying to carrying it on...

Scooby was mine from my mom and dad, Boo from my step dad and strangely enough my DH (even though he didn't know I was called that by step dad), and when either of them are being endearing they both call me Princess too. Weird never thought about that before.

Mine was Scooby or Scoobs in elementary & high school because I was always saying "Ruh Roh, Raggy!" whenever something went wrong. My family never picked up on that one.

My dad has always called me "lil one" or "lil bit" & sometimes "roach" or "worm" when he's being silly. My mom has never called me anything other than my name.

My Uncle, a pilot, called me Roger (shortened from Roger Dodger) because even as a toddler I loved flying with him in his little 2 seater plane & calling that out. He called me that until the day he passed away 4 years ago. I miss it.

Sometimes I'm called Dee, but only by a few coworkers.

My lovely family used to call me either Thene Bean or Mean Thene....
and if I was having issues with allergies,they would add... Snot Machine.

Wonderful.
My grandmother still calls me Thenesy from this.


Now that I am adult I have a nickname that DH and our friends call me. Not sure when/why, but DH has called me that for ages.


OT, but a funny nickname story. Our godson Jeremiah was called Jo Jo until he was about 4. Then he decided to go by his big boy name and would not let anyone call him Jo Jo. DH could not remember to save his life, which made Jeremiah MAD! So I told him that every time DH called him Jo Jo to respond with "what was that Bun Bun??" (DH's name is brendon, and it was the first thing that popped into my head ) Scarily it stuck. And lots of kids call him that now

My dad called me Queenie. He said I expected everyone to wait on me hand and foot. (I still don't think that was true)

My parents called me Babo until I was about 3 years old. Then, my mother tells me they were afraid I would be called Babe if they did not stop, so they started calling me by my real name.

My name is Kelly, I have had 2 nicknames from my grandmother, she called me TigerLilly and then Keecha, not sure where either of those came from, but I don't ever remember her calling me Kelly! My mom always called me Miss Poovey until I was in 3rd grade and had an assistant teacher named Miss Poovey and I was convinced that I was her daughter!!

My daughter is Kamryn, and I call her Kammy, KammySue, Sammy, Sam, Angel, and Blueberry. I just call her whatever comes out at the time, but her favorite that I call her is KamKam. My family mostly calls her Kammy, except for my mom who calls her Miss T or Boushka Boo (I hate that one!) or Tilley!
