A couple of ladies I work with and I were talking about this yesterday. One lady said she had grown up with mostly females. She didn't understand the art of tickling (she almost left her dh after their 1st year of marriage because he tried to tickle her:confused: ). The other lady said she grew up with mostly boys, so she understands their maleness.;) I grew up with mostly boys too. Luckily that prepared me for being the mother of a sensitive natured, rambunctious ds.:teeth: And it also encouraged me to play cars with my dd.:)

I know most of you will say a blend of both though.;)

i grew up mostly with males...i have the art of being tickled down to a science!!! I also have the art of kicking the tickleee somewhere it REALLY hurts down to a science!! :teeth:

girls beat by 1 when I was growing up.

mental note - DON't mess with Wagamama!!!

I have 2 sisters. I think there was more scratching going on than tickling!

I grew up with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Now I have two DSs and 1 DH in my house. Even the cat is MALE!

thats right! I am woman! Hear me roar!!! insert growl here (i am also VERY tickelish....tickle me and die!!!!!)

2 sisters and 2 brothers....I guess I should be balanced;)

I had more female role models outside of the family.

From the age of 14 on up I was raised by my Dad, and two brothers. One is 12 yrs older, the other is 3 yrs older than me. The eldest one left me alone, the younger one tortured me! Locked me in closets, locked me out of the house, would pin me down and threaten to spit in my face, etc.

We all love each other dearly though! :(

I have an older brother and a younger brother so I guess I grew up with mostly males.

I have 1 brother, and most of my cousins that lived near me were boys. Now I have a DH and 4 boys. So, I'd say, mostly males. :teeth:

I grew up with 4 brothers, no sisiters, so when my son wants to play baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey..... I'm right out there with him.

I grew up with just one sister. We have some male cousins but they are both much older than us so we never hung out with them. I used to sometimes play with the boy across the street, but for the most part, I was very girly growing up and didn't care much for boys at all. I have always hated sports.

Mostly girls. I have three sisters and one brother (seven years younger than me) My parents divorced when I was 10 and I barely saw any of my father after that. I had two daughters. At the moment, the girls are both moved out and it's Stephen, an intern from church and me. The intern is male. It's the first time in my life where the males out number the females in our house. Kind of weird.

3 brothers, one sister, oldest brother and sister quite a bit older than me, they moved out when I was still very young. Grew up with 2 brothers and oldest nephew, who seems more like a brother.

3 older brothers--definitely male. That's part of the reason I wanted a dd so much! Now theres dh, 2 ds, and dd and me!

Alone here too. But now having 4 boys I certainly can tickle and wrestle with the best of them!
