I really wanted to be able to ride all the DIS team rides this week-end but did not get a chance to.

The ones I did ride were AWESOME!!! Everyone did a fantastic job and I am so glad I am not a judge, they have an extremely hard job!

Hopefully alot of the rides will be open during the week so everyone who missed out on them might get another chance, I know everyone is tired of the base camps.

Again GREAT JOB everyone!

Heres hoping for a DIS SWEEP!

I saw Zeta's Magical yeti ride and I loved it! It was so cool!!! Hope they do well

I also saw great movie ride, which was kinda cool and I also saw both team sorcerors (no idea which I was the DIS 1!).

I rode most of the rides dis and not dis with a friend when my daughter was driving her team members crazy in the camp. There were lots of creativity flying around in vmk. Can I say lots of A+ personalities, lol.
I was amazed how much details went to some of these rides. I hope more of these rooms can get connected so everyone can enjoy them as much as I did.

I rode Magical Yeti (my fave) Triva, Stitch, Beyond everest, boogie, and others that I cant think of at the moment. Loved all of them!! Great job everyone!

Well, I gave it my best shot! I really wanted to see all of the Everest rides this weekend, unfortunately I was sitting in our team's base camp for most if it! :) Team Sorcerer! was my team's ride. Yes, it was not cool of VMK to allow another Team Sorcerer ride, as it made things very confusing, but I guess we should be glad we were able to compete. LOL Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check it out! Good luck to ALL teams! Very creative players, I was impressed by your rooms.

I tried and tried but only got on three - could not find many that I knew were DIS - I wish we had a post that just listed which rides were DIS people. But I rode the great movie ride- it was very creative, the burning pirate town area was fabulous. And I rode the Magical Yeti - But not sure I "found" him - was it the word Yeti written kind of sideways and askew on a wall, I think with wreathes?? And I rode a giant expedition ride - that was my favorite. It was really really long and had so much ice and wonderful zig zagging track, yet very smooth -
I met lots of nice riders and good people!

I did not get to ride all of them but the ones I did were great. Everyone did a wonderful job on their rides, you can tell so much time and effort went into them. And all the little extras, like the hidden mickeys, just loved that idea.

I would like to see VMK award more than one team, I know I would have a hard job deciding on only 1 winner.

Good luck to all the teams you all did an outstanding job :thumbsup2

I was gone most of the weekend and only got to play the last 3 hours on Sunday. Got some bat magic and rode a few rides before it event part closed down. Seems that most base camp members left ASAP on Sunday after the event.

DIS Sweep, hope for it, WOOT! :teeth: :teeth:

I did not get to see all the DIS rides due to having many things to do during the week end but did get to see No Return by Coriander and many others and it was great.

I really hope we could have Everest rides up permanently :)

My favorite team: Too hard to pick.

Unfortunately, with all the disconnects, I had to stay with my own team to keep our base camp open much of the event. I did try to ride yesterday for a little and saw some wonderful rooms. Good luck everyone!

For those I did not get to, my apologies as I'm sure your rooms were great! For those who came by Base Camp Everest Time Journey, thank you so much for taking the time to ride our ride.

Perhaps some rides will be open over the next few days. If so, I will try to come see you then.

I actually saw you come back after a disconnect, after I finished riding
your ride. I gave GreatGatsby the "your fire is out in some rooms" message
while I was riding. Great theme!

I didn't get to ride a lot of the rides due to being in Base Camp most of
the weekend, but what I saw I enjoyed very much. I still would like to
see the Capes' ride that never was, as I never did get to see it.

I zoomed in and out and down and around on 43 different rides, I took notes on each and everyone...When VMK announces the winner, I want to look to see what I thought of that ride....I would NOT want to be a judge!

While each was wonderful and creative, I thought that eight of them were outstanding! (will not name names, keeping that to myself)......I think that this was a great event! I had alot of fun!! So to my fellow DIS team members, like my signature said We're Screaming our way to a win!!! Good Luck.....Thank You for all the fun and R-O-A-R-R-R!!!

And To all other DIS Base Camp Teams...I enjoyed your rides, your company, your messages, gifting you...(LOL pixs) but most of all your creativity....Good Luck!!

Sure hope we see a DIS win!!

Only got to ride about 3 or 4. Can't remember now. Unfortunately I had so much going on this weekend, that any spare moment I had to get on VMK was spent manning my base camp.

What would you all think about setting up a teleporter lobby that would get us into all the base camps? It could link off one of the existing lobbies. That way we wouldn't have to have people waiting around in base camps.

How many Base Camps were there? We searched on "Base Camp" several times but came up with some different camps in the list on different searches. Some camps showed up in our early search results but then didn't seem to exist when we searched for them to ride at a later time.

I am almost afraid to mention the rest, as you will think we don't have any other life, but here goes: We wanted to support as many teams as we could by riding so we took Snag-It shots of the search results and came up with a master list of 74 base camps (not counting some odd ones that showed up that looked like "fake" entries). We managed to ride 70 individual rides over the three days and even re-visited several of them. We couldn't find the last four on Sunday night.

DH and I had a great time visiting each of the teams and riding their rides. Thank you to all teams for the enjoyment you brought to us at your own expense in credits and time. We were in awe of the work put into the rooms. Good luck to everyone!

For the dis rides i rode

Capes team: awesome

Boogies team: very....boogie

pinkgirlygirl: quite a scream

of course the zeta's: Very sweet (we are going to win! ;))
