Our next visit will be first time with DD she will be 7 almost 8. I think i'm gonna be a blubbering wreck seeing her face with all the "first" experiences. I was bad enough seeing her little face at Disney on Ice :rotfl2:

Although I don't recall noticing anybody at Disney with watery eyes, is it just me? :confused3

Definitely not just you!!

Some of my most precious memories of my 3 daughters are Disney memories: one DD being amazed that the Castle was REAL!! Open-mouthed wonder. One of them getting a BBB makeover and the look of delight at the reveal. One of them throwing her arms around Minnie after previously being afraid of characters. The list goes on....

I get emotional setting of in the car to the airport every year and this will be the girls 4th trip!

That's what dark shades are for!!! ;)

oh I have had sooo many teary moments through my children's visits! from skipping through MK with Wendy to the reveal at bobbidi bobbidi boutique to my son walking down main st saying thank you & that every day was magical, my non believing daughter telling me that Crush really was real after turtle talk, her being asked for her autograph please princess as she was dressed like Jazmine, my son jumping for joy & soaked through after being tall enough to ride kali river rapids, & my newest daughter getting the giggles on her first meeting with Mickey Mouse (she was 11 mths)
you will cry for all the right reasons & you will never forget those magical moments!

Yes im the same this year its girls third trip and im already getting emotional! They will have their 4th birthdaynout there and i cannot wait :-)

Yes loads of happy tears here!

We went for DD's first visit at Christmas last year. She had her 4th birthday there ( on Christmas eve).
The first time she spotted the castle, her first ride on IASW, the first time she met Mickey - all of them. But the biggest blub fest was when she was all ready for her birthday lunch at the castle. Cinderella had sent her a Cinderella dress to wear along with the invite ;) We have lots of amazing PP pics that I still tear up at just looking at them. ( just like the one in my avatar!) :goodvibes

Claire :)

But I get teary eyed when I am there. This year we are going with my 8 year old nephew for his first trip and I get teary eyed just thinking about it. I suspect I am going to be a complete blubbering mess when we actually get there.

In fact I have made Magic Kingdom our 2nd day because I really don't think I could cope with everything at once. I don't care what anyone else in the party wants to do - I am doing the bookings so I get to decide :yay:

Big sunglasses and an attack of hay fever :)

I am going to be the same as you!

I am taking my DS7 and DS4 for the first time and they are both so excited. Everyday they are asking lots of questions about who they are going to meet and what they are going to see.

I showed them a WDW online and they're little faces lit up with the realization of where we are going - that in itself set me off! :rotfl:

I feel so blessed I am going to be able to give my children such a magical experience and I cannot wait! Two weeks today and we'll be travelling down to the airport hotel! :cool1:

Yes, I definitely did with my daughter who was 20 months old at her first visit, she's 24 now and I still do!

But my most emotional time was seeing my DH face when he first saw Main Street. I had been a couple of times before we were married and never thought I would ever go again, as a married woman. That first time was so magical and he fell in love with it, fortunately. His face was so childlike, emotional and shining with happiness. Wonderful memory.

I dread this :lmao: I'll be taking my DD when she'll have turned 3. I just know I'll spend two weeks blubbing :rotfl:

I tear up when she's watching the videos of the parades on You Tube! Goodness help me when it's in front of us for real :yay:

Omg I tear up just thinking about it! Goodness knows what I will be like when I get there! Main Street, Disney World sign, meeting Rapunzel, parades. Everything!

OMG! i'm filling up just reading your replies :lmao:

Glad i'm not alone. Thanks for the dark glasses tip :thumbsup2

Yeah I also fill up when DD watches the Youtube clips, we love watching "must do disney 2013".

I too feel blessed as I thought we would never afford to be able to take DD, it's been (and still is) a long slog saving but we are on target for 2015 :dance3:

There were many, many times on our first trip with DS. And there are still many, many times now. I am the over-emotional type anyway (highly strung, my DH says) and I quite often fill up at little things.

Sadly, at the age of 10, DS is a little less wide-eyed and mesmerised by it all but that doesn't stop me from getting all teary-eyed at character interactions and certain other moments.

Sometimes it is just when he stops, takes everything in, realises exactly where he is and says "Thanks for bringing me". Then I'm in bits :rotfl:
