Anyone know how much money is being awarded?
I love my Skechers! I've bought many pairs, hope I can find some receipts.
OP thanks for the info.
I bought shape-ups but not because of their claims to help you lose weight. These are the only shoes I can wear comfortably. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and any other shoe is just agony to walk-in. I have 5 pairs.
If you love them, why would you ask for this refund?
I'm just asking.![]()

Same here. It's the only sneaker I wear these days. I did have the original ones that they came out with and then as they developed others, I've bought those, which look more like regular sneakers. I also have some Tone Ups too. They have been amazing for my plantar fascitis and the pain I had in my knees for ages is gone now too.
Actually these kind of shoes are the very worst think for plantar fasciitis... I have it too, and these thick-soled shoes actually make the problem worse. They may temporarily aleviate the pain, which is why many people think they're "good" for PF, but over time they weaken the structures in your foot even more. The best thing to do is wear thin, flat shoes (or even better, barefoot) for a little bit at a time to give your leg muscles and arch time to build up and develop. These shoes don't tone, and they really are worthless for anybody who cares about their feet.
They're horrible for your ankles too as being so high off the ground can make you more prone to "breaking over".
