Did you buy Mouse Ears for your kids?

Our friends went to WDW a few months before our DD's first trip there. They brought her back a pair of ears with her name on them. It was very sweet of them to do, but I was secretly sad inside because "I" wanted to buy her her ears. LOL I guess it's a Disney freak thing.

We took them with us and she wore them. Our second DD's first trip is coming up and I will definitely buy her a pair.

The first thing we bought at MK was DD5's princess ears and had her name embroidered on them. She fussed with them at first but she didn't wear the chin strap and secured them with bobby pins instead and that did the trick. (Yes, I'm so crazy I had brought bobby pins from home just for this reason b/c I didn't know they came with an elastic strap!)

I still have my first pair of ears from Disneyland from age 3.

It's just something you have to have at Disney as part of the experience and gives them something great to wear for "hat day" at school!
