Did you bake your crocs?

I don't have any experiences with crocs...but the insoles my podiatrise (sp) prescribed for me had to go in the oven then I had to put them in my shoe and put my shoe on to mold the insole. Sounds like the same thing with the crocs.

CROCS ROCK! I love them so much that I actually bought them for all my sisters and girlfriends. They wear them all the time.

I put mine in the dryer and they form beautifully to your feet. The cheap knock offs are the pits, spend the extra money for real CROCS your feet are worth it and who wants sore feet when their at WDW?

I love CROCS! :cool1:

I bought a pair of Airwalks and I didn't like them as much as the the Crocs. They have become my gardening shoes.

How do Crocs compare with pretty rugged Teva and Birkenstocks??? I am always looking for alternatives for my very flat feet....... :scratchin

I would REALLY hesitate before "baking" my crocs! My FIL left his in the sun & they hardened up & shrunk!

For Christmas we gave him a new pair - we "wrapped" them in a Styrofoam cooler so he would have a "cool" place to store them :rotfl:

I've got really flat feet too. The Crocs were okay for me, as far as just slipping them on and running to the store, but not for any great amount of walking. They just didn't have enough support. Birks had wayyyyy too much of an arch on them. They hurt just to put them on. I did get Teva Hurricane and absolutely loved them. I hardly took them off all summer long last year! I'm really looking forward to trying the pretty ruggeds.

These were the opposite for me. My feet are as flat as pancakes and are wide too- I have never in my life owned a pair of shoes that were comfortable - until I bought my crocs. They fit right great right out of the box, no stretching or painful breaking in period required.

I wore them every single day on my recent trip - I didn't even bring my sneakers this past trip...

I apologize for my ignorance, but what are crocs and where do you get them? Are they the one that are sort of rubber-like with :scratchin a strap around the back?

I LOVE my crocs, but I don't think I'd bake them. They fit just fine without it, so, I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! :) I've taken them on three trips to WDW (October, December, January) and have worn them with shorts, socks, jeans, etc. I used to be a Teva-girl, but now I'm a Crocs convert. I won't go to WDW without them!!!

I wonder if it's because I had the Nile style rather than the Beach that everyone else is getting. :confused3 I felt bad, because I really had my hopes up on the shoes based on everybody's positive reviews, but they just didn't work for me.

I also only can wear Birkenstock or Tevo for touring. I've never seen crocs. I did a web search. Are you talking about the clog for touring. If not Please tell me the Model name. I also have FLAT feet.

My kids can't stand me wearing Birkenstocks all day this will kill them.

Every question is a good question!! You can get Crocs on line (do a google search) and you can get them at Hallmark stores and other outlets. They sell knockoffs at Payless, Target, and Walmart (but these have gotten mixed reviews). Yes, they are rubberlike and some have a strap around the back--depends on the style. They are ULTRA comfortable!!

I get mine from Dillards, but they have them virtually everywhere including sporting goods stores

I bought my ds 4 a pair last night at a dept. store. How can I tell what 'Type' of Crocs they are (they say Crocs Bolder Colorado)? Also~what are the best ones for adults?

When I got my Crocs, DD (then 19) thought they were the ugliest things she'd ever seen and said "Just promise me mom that you won't wear them to the mall!"

Fast forward to now. She tried on a pair of Crocs that I had ordered and was going to return while she was home at Christmas. She couldn't believe
how great they felt and decided to keep them. She is now working at WDW in the college program and guess what she's wearing for her "work shoes?" You got it!! Black Crocs!

Has anyone tried wearing the darker colored crocs to WDW in the summer? I love the spring colors, but I know I'd get more 'use' out of the navy or black ones. I was wondering whether or not the dark colors attracted the sun enough to make your feet really hot. Thanks!

One more question...I'm going to go buy myself and my DD5 a pair today. How do I know that I am buying the right size? Does sizing compare with my regular shoes or do I need to go up/down a size? Also, do you buy them to fit loosely? Thanks!

I bought DS9 a pair at Nordstrom yesterday. He has been saying he wants Crocs, so I caved and got him some Ocean Blue ones. He is currently in size 2 Nikes, but they are getting a bit small. The size 3 Crocs were giant, so we got size 2. He tried them on with socks and seemed to have plenty of room.

I tried some on for about the 15th time and I just don't get it. :confused3 These shoes do not fit properly on my feet. I will keep trying, though! I can't stand to be left out! I have Birkenstock and Teva sandals, so now I must have Crocs! Maybe I need to buy them and put them in the dryer to make them fit better.
