I have been making sporadic purchases of the all you can eat/drink at Universal. I went on today to buy a set and I can't find it on the website. Thanks in advance for the response!!!! :confused3 Has this been discontinued? Any news?

Ok, I will be there, at the end of September. I have a question. The sipper cup. Since I will be there for 3 days I am thinking the meal deal may work for my son and I. What, I want to know is, do we get to keep the sipper cups. Or do we throw them away only to buy a new one each day. If I do the math around 30 dollars a day, to eat, and drink all day, per person. Maybe i can eat Oh, and are the cups a nuisance to carry around, as it will be just my son, and I. I like to travel light in the parks.

what type of desserts do you get to pick from? i have the menus for the dining places involved and there are many desserts, are the dining meal customers allowed to pick any of the desserts on the menus? are you permitted anything from the "entree" section"? can anyone help?

for example for dessert selection for the meal deal, a budnt cake is the same price as a milkshake, does this mean you can get either or?

No you can't exchange desserts even if it is the same price.

It's still available. In fact, Monster Cafe and Richters have been added to the other three at Universal. And Burger Digs has been added at IOA. It doesn't say that on the website yet as they were just added today.

Here's the link: http://www.universalorlando.com/tic_meal_deal.html

Phantom, you rule!!! This is why I love this forum. Thanks for that info. :thumbsup2 I just might have to try the meal deal in October, now that they have added 3 more places to eat.

Those three places were only added for peak season. October is not peak so those places will most likely not be part of the meal deal then.

Bummer :sad2: But I might try it one day on this next trip anyway.

The site says the Meal Deal tickets can be purchased at the front gate....is that still accurate? TIA :sunny:

You can purchase at participating resturants, dining reservation carts, theme park ticket booths and at select merchandise stores

( taken from the handout about the meal deal from end of Sept.)

How bad are the lines at these places? We're going next August and I've read a lot about waiting longer for the food than the rides! Is this only for the restaurants with the meal deal? If we don't get it (assuming they still have it then), are there places to eat (counter service) where it wouldn't be as crowded? If not, it seems more worth it. Thanks!

The lines aren't too bad... some places are better than others. I've found that Circus McGurkis tends to have pretty long lines... and we've always found short lines at Monster Cafe. That's our favorite place to eat... quiet, cool, dark, and usually very un-crowded.

I'm curious whether Monster Cafe, Richters, and Burger Digs are going to be available again in the next Peak Season (we're going during Thanksgiving week). Last time we went, which was March, those places were available with the all you can eat deal... but right now on the website it says that they're not.

Anyone know if they'll be available again in November?

I am curious to, to Laura's question about the monsters and diggs during non peak season being open or closed, is November peak?
