The quiz gave me AKL. While I have never stayed there, or any deluxe, it is one of the two deluxes that are on my bucket list.

I got Grand Floridian. It is one of 3 Disney Hotels that just doesn't appeal to me (AKL and POFQ are the other two, for anyone who cares). I do like its proximity to Magic Kingdom, but find Contemporary to be more convenient since you also have the option to walk. With Grand Floridian, you have to take the monorail. I also find Poly to be more convenient because it is only 1 more stop from MK than GF, but you can always walk to the TTC for easy access to the Epcot Monorail. YC/BC and Boardwalk all have easy access to two parks, as well. So, convenience wise, I don't think Grand Floridian is the best and while it is lovely enough, I think Yacht Club and Beach Club are just as beautiful and prefer the themes at Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, and Boardwalk. So, yeah, they got this one wrong.


But, I will say that I wouldn't turn down a free trip that included a stay at Grand Floridian...




ETA: I took it a second time and changed some of my answers that I had a hard time deciding between and it came up with AKL.

I got the Grand which is funny because it no longer appeals to me.

I was hoping I would get something unexpected like the Contemporary.

I got Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is so accurate. It's been my favorite since it opened. probably before it opened.

I think when you select that you like zoos, onsite activities, and want the most value for your dollar, this is the one you are going to get (which has always been my assessment as well).

We have stayed there three times- more often than we have stayed at any other one resort.
