Did they reset VMK today?

I have had terrible trouble all day, everything is loading like molasses!

Lost connection earlier and it took forever to reload I finally gave up.

Now I am in with one of my Mule Team and and going from room to room is really really slow.

The one good place today was private rooms things were going really fast there until I got the boot. not by the owner by vmk

anyone else expierence slow loads and response time today?

So far I'm not having any troubles, maybe it was the connection on your side of the computer?

well it could be...but usually after I have loaded VMK for the day as long as I do not clear cookies everything zips takes only seconds to load rooms etc.

But not today.

Maybe there is something going on server side. For a minute there it was going slower than syrup going uphill in January... with crutches...

The game has been different for me today. Much slower than usual and no sound on the pirates game.

I was/am having problems with it being slow, but now there is a message saying that I do not have broadband and that I could still play but it will run slower than it did before......great I will ever be able to win any games this way...

have a funny feeling they will be coming out with their own broadband system soon for a fee....just watch

so since I really want to play I had to order a broadband service today....not happy about it, but if I would have to pay a fee to play the game, no way....broadband was not cheap....

VMK slow

Tell Me! I have been holding out on converting to Cable but it looks like I am going to have to I can get it for around $35 a month that is $15 more than I am paying now but I can drop our Voice mail service so that is about $7...I just need to break down and do it.

Last night I was being kicked out every 2 minutes...does that happen to people with high speed connections also?

Yes everyone with broadband please tell me that you do not have the problem of getting kicked off all the time or seeing the system crash....only because I really do not think VMK's system crasked, would think they would have a better screen if they did.....

please tell me that I am not going to waste my money on faster internet service, for I really only need it for this game......LOL otherwise I would rather it be slow and cheaper....

I have high speed DSL (not cable) - I get the big yellow boot about every 45min. (Unless it is an event - then every time I get into a room where a prize may be given out )

I have broadband and still get kicked off at regular intervals just like everyone else. I'm sure the game loads faster and plays faster despite that. I got broadband for ebay but I would probably have upgraded to broadband for VMK. Wait a minute... I upgraded my operating system at great expense so I could have a browser that VMK supported. I definitely would upgrade to broadband for better VMK performance.

VMK crashes (not disconnects) fairly often if I use the Firefox browser (not supported for Mac by VMK). Lately I get the white rectangle of death when I go to play my mix in the music game. But honestly, there doesn't seem to be much difference between a disconnect and a crash because in both cases you click on the appropriate spot and the VMK login page is loaded.

Oh, if you do get broadband make sure to get a surge protector for the cable connection. My computer got fried due to a close lightning strike. I heard the crackle as the modem was toasted and then my ethernet port got roasted. Repairs for a lightning strike are not covered under warranty and they do check the boards for evidence of scorching. The stinky part is my cable for the tv didn't even flinch at the lightning strike. The extra stinky part is the damage probably would have happened even if I had managed to shut down the computer before the lightning struck. For now, I just disconnect the modem from my computer if there is even a hint of an electrical storm nearby but I really need to get the cable protected to be safe.
