Thanks Mandy :)

I thought I'd take advantage of the fact he was in his 'I Love Daddy' sleepsuit tonight and that mummy is out boozing celebrating her forthcoming birthday ;)

Awesome result, here starts my quest for tickets for the Millenium Stadium :cool1: . Yay!

I wanted to watch the match tomorrrow. I don't know why I read this thread but it was a bad move.

Remember the eposide of the Likely Lads when they tried for ages not to know the score?

I held back saying anything after past football posts descended into abuse. But today the best team for 70% of the match won so no matter what maureen says it was deserved.

Good game for football and glad to see one manager realised that, shame about the lack of handshakes from the other at the end of the game. It should be a fineable offence not showing respect for the opponent.

Absolute magic and I was fortunate to be at the game to witness.

I too am reluctant to post anything about football on these boards, past experience shows it is not a good idea (I think a few of you will know what I mean) ;)

Anyway like Rob says for 70 minutes or so Liverpool were the better team, and whilst Chelsea are a great side it would have been nice if their manager could lose with a bit more dignity.
I am just glad they didn't start with their best team!

Good luck to 'Boro and the 'Hammers today.

Well I've just waved hubbie and daughter off as they travelup to villa park,I don't know who is more excited!! :goodvibes Anyway they have got enough food to last them a week, so if they get lost on the way they will have plenty of grub to keep them going ;)
Up the Hammers and all that stuff, Im quite happy here tucked up in my bed, disney boarding to my hearts content

Just hope the Boro can get a result (a +ve one) today ;)

Love the photo of Joseph - hope you both enjoyed your 'lads night in' :goodvibes

I thought that I was going to miss the match because my DD was in the hospital again, but that's another story! :furious: Anyway we managed to snuggle up in her bed and watch it together! We both support Liverpool so we were very excited, but we tried to kep the noise down! :teeth:

what do you make of mourinho, me personally think that he was a spoilt brat when he was a child and got everything he wanted, and if you dont play my game then im taking the ball, what manager would make a comment like "not that it was a good game and both had chances to win it" but we have had 45 points more than them the last 2 seasons so we are the better team", the mans a joke

He's got a big ego! but I still rate him as one of the top managers in europe, I think he proved his credentials when he won the CL with Porto. He's also a great character and I think the premiership is all the richer for his involvement in it.

Chelsea had a bad day yesterday and he was frustrated and whilst I am not excusing his poor sportsmanship at the end of the game I can see why he acted in the way he did.

not saying he is a bad manager , probably in the top 10 in Europe, but there is no excuse for the way he acted.
Teams have bad days and decisions go against you, but to get on the way he did there is no excuse, its a game to be played sportingly and at the end you except defeat gracefully, what example is he shown to others, arsene wenger is another after their game yesterday
