Did The Haunted Mansion Game Lower Credits

At least SOMEBODY is getting credits! I get booted back to the main lobby every time! No credits, no nothing! I do love the game though, just wish I could manage to get the pay off! Using IE and have "used" aol and the game knocked me off aol completely. Shut down the entire program. LOL Has anyone had success with Firefox or Mozilla browsers?

i use mozilla yes i have had luck ie does sometimes get dc for some reason hope you have better luck

I keep playing the haunted mansion game like 6 or 8 times [im guessing...] and then i get 2000 credits or more. Then i keep playing 6 0r 8 times some more and keep getting 2000 credits again....i buy snowman magic each time and trade it for better stuff [like my seagull hat ] You guys should try it!!

This game does not pay 2000 credits in a chunk ever all at once I have played non stop beleive me. You do get bonuses but they only go up to 500 credits. Perhaps you mean from playing over and over you earn a total of around 2000. that is possible I have probably won over 30 K total.

got 410 credits after being by myself and got 92 ghosts

So why didn't you get 460 credits?

The pay out continues to be inconsistent on this game..

I think that you get 5 credits for each ghost that you capture, this does not seem to include when your opponent is temporarily turned and you get them. You do get double credit for it (which helps in winning the round), but I do not believe that you get any credits for it. At least that seems to be the case for the discrepancies that I have seen.

Just bumping up gblanstom's suggestion. This might explain some of the credit discrepancies. If anyone can confirm...?

However, I also wonder if they are also capping the payouts. I don't think, as another poster suggested, that they've dropped it to 1 credit per ghost; I've been getting credits higher than that.

In any case, it still beats Nedding. But not mule-ing, so long as those 500 credit codes remain functional.

I hope they increase:
- daily NPC credits
- pirates payout

- fireworks seems to pay well enough already for those who are good at it (not me!)

I think it'd be nice if they increased the Jungle Cruise payout, but only if they also removed the payout for scores of 0. Perhaps baseline credits for making a single "lap", and then a graduated scale based on score, but not based on requiring placement in the top 10.

You do not get credits for getting another player. Yes, you get double points to win the rounds, but you do not get credits for it in the end. So, his score could have been 92, but he must have gotten a player for some of those points giving him a total score of 410.


Also, one time the score ended up being DEAD even (no pun intended), after three rounds, but it ended up giving it to the other team. So not fair!!!! LOL

The score was 103 to 103. I had a screen shot, but i keeps saying it is too big, even when I shrink it way down.

i have been seeing that too, sometime i get less than what i should sometimes i get more. i think it is a bug or since there is always people playing the vmk server is having problems what credit go to what people

They did lower the bounty on the ghost the directions now say 1 credit per ghost.

I didn't start playing HM until the 2nd day it was open, and on my computer it's always said in the directions that you get 1 credit per ghost. Which is why I asked in another thread if the 5 per ghost was just temporary while the game's new. I get really inconsisten credits myself. I'll either get too few or 50 or so too many. There's something wrong with the thing, is the only thing I can figure (unless those bugs were built into it ).

I am sorry. Everything is a riddle in VMK after re-re-reading the directions. It says "1 point" not "credit". Then the pop up message at the end of the game does still say 5 credits per ghost. They never clarify many things (again I wish they would just post the full rules and directions particularly on scoring) So I now believe as pointed out in a post earlier that for ghosts you get 5 credits but for de-zombiefying an opponent (try saying that in VMK) you get 2 points in game but no extra credit. This means if you win the game by turning the other players back then you won't get as much credit if this holds true. If anyone has a guess on the bonus plan I would be interested in theories.

On a side note I had the funniest game today 1 of my opponents had the wrong color ghost trapped against the wall and I had her trapped against the ghost. She kept turning into a zombie and I kept "spraying" her, as I like to say. It was about 30 seconds into the game in the first round and the that shot the score up to something like 7 to 67 when it caused me to crash out so I didn't get the final score But I was laughing myself silly.

Just wanted to bring this theory up...does the game distribute the credits to the different players on the team? I've been noticing that when I play by myself (and capture about 50 ghosts total in 2 rounds) I usually get a huge payoff at the end of the game. Yet, when I play in a team of four and catch about the same amount of ghosts (if not more) I get about 170-200 credits only.

Anyone else faced with a similar dilemma?

This is what I have gathered from the game:

1 point pet ghost you catch, 5 credits for each ghost
2 points for each opponent changed ghost caught, no credits

The points are added together go towards the team win. But, you only get credits for how many ghosts you caught yourself. So if someone only catches one ghost through the whole three rounds, they only get 5 credits.

Now we just need someone to make a list of when you get the bonuses. So far I've got 250 twice. I think it's every 5 wins, but I am not sure.

I racked up over 4000 credits over the weekend and probably played about 10 or so games. My brother probably played like 20 games and got 10000 credits. This is a great credit money maker. I think this will for sure shorten the amount of mules made daily.

Last night I played. I was on the losing team- all my team mates disappeared during round 2 except me. I got 135 points for my ghosts caught but also got "Thanks for helping us capture ghosts. For your hardwork here is 50 credits"

LOL- my dh was on the winning team- and got 50 credits for the win but ended up with few credits for me- and he got very mad because "I hate that game- it is stupid"

So seems you can sometimes get randomly given extra credits too- it was probably my 6th or 7th game to play as that character- and of those only 2-3 are wins- so no rhyme or reason that I can think up as usual.

maybe it's like every five games you WIN you get bonus credits. I have gotten up to 250 bonus credits on top of my regular score. Although, i never get bonus credits if i win. odd.

BTW= I got my personal HIGH last night!!! I am so excited! LOL

I got 129 ghosts (counting some players)
and received 490 credits!!!!!!!! WOW
