Did Rush Limbaugh really say.....

My problem with Rush Limbaugh is that he is heard all over the world by our troops and he just said that he hopes their Commander in Chief "Fails".

This is really nothing more than aiding the enemy. To me he is no different than Tokyo Rose or Axis Sally.

I don't even know what to say to that. Our troops just spent the past years hearing from the left that the war in Iraq was lost and that Bush 'failed.' That was specifically ON THE WAR. That was okay though, right? Because it was liberals making the statements.

Rush? If you'd heard the whole interview, he wasn't even talking about the war.

It's obvious that he hates America and only works for the global corporate interests who pay his salary.

I would venture to say that those who listen on a regular basis understand what he meant. I also have to add that many of the people in the military agree with him on what his statement really meant before the spin was put on it. My DH ( who is military ) does not want Obama to fail per say but does want his socialistic ideas and polocies to. Because you see if he cannot fulfill his promises to the people than it makes way for the next great president since Reagan!!! BOBBY JINDAL

Well, on the other thread I was all but labeled unamerican and disloyal for wanting many of the new President's policies to fail. I don't agree with his politics and therefore feel than many of his policies will cause further harm to the country I love. I am in no way disloyal or unAmerican. One poster actually said I hoped her husband lost his job because of my opinion on policy issues. Ummmm, unless your husband is serving at the pleasure of the current President in no way do my opinions effect his employment. Talk about a person who spews the talking points from the left!

I used to work in lobbying. We received faxes every Monday morning listing the DNC and RNC talking points for the week. Inevitably people on these boards would be reciting these papers near verbatim by Tuesday.

I really don't care what Rush Limbaugh says. He's entitled to his opinion as much as anyone else. Why would anyone care if he says he wants America to burn much less the policies of a President with the opposite ideology to fail? It doesn't matter. When are people going to realize that "We the People" are referring to us, the citizens? We have the right to listen, speak, and act as we so choose.

Troops listening to Rush "all over the world" on a regular basis, do not need an interpretation of that statement. When "success" for Obama means failure for America, then it is a completely coherent statement.

I'm no fan of Rush's but this is over the top. I'm sure Rush is pro-American, even if his idea of what that means is different than mine.
