It looks like paint boy got a hair transplant. Last year his hair line seemed to be receeding quickly now he has a full head of hair (sorta looks like the job that Dennis Miller had done)

any comments...

As a person who is about to get a breast aug, I can only say this - if it made him happy - yay!!!!

Is there such a thing as a good-looking hair transplant? I ask only because there was a guy at my old work who had 2 "rows" of hair transplanted around his hairline. I don't know if he gave up after that, or if he kept going bald so the transplant was more noticable over time or what. All I know is that he had the "Ken Doll" look, where you could see each hairplug any time you looked at him. I tried not to sit across from him in meetings, because it was darned near impossible not to stare at his "hairline" :earseek:

I wish that people would leave Jeff Gordon alone. I know many people that make fun of him and call him gay or just plain make fun of him saying he is not man enough just because he got a divorce from his wife does not meen he is gay. As for the hair transplant.... not sure I am too busy looking at his face to notice :flower:

actually I wouldn't be surprised if breast augmentation is the next surgery for paint boy

Oh I think so. Two years ago he wore his hat all the time and you could see it was pretty receeded. But then towards the middle of last season he was without his hat more often and it definitely looked slightly fuller, now this year he's got a head full of hair!

I think it looks great but I guess when you have his kind of money you can afford a top notch hair transplant.

BTW I like Jeff, he's an incredibly talented driver and he seems like a real nice guy. For the record I also like Jr.

I don't think he had hair plugs - more than likely just got a better stylist- last year at this time he shaved his head (I think he hasn't had a haircut since ;) - you can still see that his hair is receding on the sides and will eventually give him that male pattern baldness look of say...Benny Parsons but that is many years off ;) My DH has the same kind of receding hairline.

If the only thing some people can complain about is his hairline then well....it's an improvement ;)

When people ask me why I don't root for Junior, I usually give them a two word answer: "His fans".

Jealous much ?

Please take this as humor...

but is it scary that you have all those pictures of paintboy...

Did anyone catch Kenny Mane (sp?) of ESPN making a statement that Earnhardt Sr used to ask journalist if they were still dating Jeff Gordon... Dale was a funny guy...

:rotfl: Never heard of Google? :rotfl:
You asked a question and I googled some pictures to prove my point that he probably hasn't had plugs.

Is it humor when 15,000 rednecks are yelling "(insert derogatory name for homosexuals here)" at the top of their lungs at the race track ?

Guess I don't get the "joke".

I like Jeff Gordon and I think that some people are just way too mean. Exactly what has Jeff ever done to deserve the spite anyway?

Awesome driver, isn't he? I think he looks great! :flower:

Yes, but the other 200,000 people at Daytona were yelling their guts out rooting for (or against) their favorite/least favorite driver without resorting to calling JG a ****.

Personally, he's NOT my guy, but he is a tremendously talented driver who has probably done more to spread the appeal of NASCAR across the country (those rooted in the past will say that is not a goos thing) than Jr. ever will.

Success breeds followers and envy. Gordon has won 70+ races & 4 Cups in the last 9 years. That's a record even Earnhardt Sr. can't match.

What I can't understand is the "Elvis like" adoration of Sr. since he died. Those that have followed NASCAR for a long time will remember that he was generally considered one of the dirtiest, roughest drivers in the sport (some will say that was a GOOD thing........) & a low-down a**. The recent movie "3" was a watered down, sugar coated version of his life.

I was rooting for Martin or Wallace on Sunday, but I also think that all-around, Tony Stewart is the best driver on the circuit. He can drive (& win) in ANY type of car, from 1/4 midget sprints to IRL to NASCAR.

And also agree that the f** comment toward Gordon are ignorant and stupid (but there are also a LOT of rednecks that DON'T say that kind of trash)

I would agree that Tony Stewart is best driver on the circuit and if you ask me fits the mold (Earnhardt Sr, Cale Yarbourgh, Jr Johnson, etc) of what I consider a classic NASCAR driver.

I've never been a INDY car fan because the drivers didn't have any life experience to make them interesting because they are/were so young. Unforunately, that is the trend we are starting to see in NASCAR and Gordon was the first to be like that.

Do you think we will ever have another story about a Daytone 500 winner who eats Bologna Sandwiches for goodluck. Most of these kid racers are pampered so they probably never have had to struggle and get by eating bologna.

I think he's a cutie....but I only watch him on Regis and Kelly... :cool1:

okay I don't pay much attention to Jeffie. He's not my driver.
but I had to look for some recent pictures to see what all the fuss is about

He's definitely had something done. I don't really care either way but he no longer has those receding hairlines. :confused3

OK, OK, I was trying like hell not to respond to this thread because I really don't care whether Jeff Gordon has had hair transplants. However, this quote from JimB just made me have to give my $.02.

As for me and most of the "real" Earnhardt fans out there (please, don't call him "Sr." as Dale really didn't like that nickname), we were fans who "worshipped" him long before his death. I have loved Dale for years, whether he was winning or losing. It was that dirty, rough driving, "low down a**" way about him that made me and millions of other fans want to kiss the ground that the man walked on. He was the ORIGINAL spirit of NASCAR... that is, he came from the rural South, made his way from an eigth grade dropout to legend, and had a good time just going racing. His death has done nothing to change the admiration that I have for him. If still having him as my personal hero even after he has died is an "Elvis-like adoration", then so be it.

I know that there are a lot of "new" NASCAR fans out there who just like Dale Earnhardt because he was Jr.'s daddy and they know nothing of what he was about. Sure, the movie "3" was watered down to appeal to these new fans, but the real fans know the truth, warts and all, and they love him anyway. And that, my friends, is all that matters.

Ok, I am now climbing off the old soapbox.... :teeth:

But remember, like the popular bumper sticker says, "My idol is Jesus, but my hero is Dale Earnhardt."
