Did packages for 2012 come out this morning?

I was able to get quotes for the Art of Animation for June and August or 2012

the disney website only allowed for suites. did you get a quote for a standard room??? we ususally stay at ft wilderness, love the cabins, but were pretty much set on POR riverside, now thinking maye AOA. Im just afraid it may be packed because its new

Can AoA be booked for late May? We are currently planning a March trip but might be willing to postpone it to late May if AoA is booking for then. We really want to stay there!

Just tried to book on the WDW site for late May and it said the resort was unavailable even when I checked the suites box. Oh well, for now we'll stick with March 2012 plans at POP.

hhhmmm ... maybe it wont be open until after may 2012.

checked out AoA family suite
found it interesting that you can select "Family Suite" or "Nemo Family Suite"
it was $328 more at AoA then ASMusic Family Suite for the same dates/6 nights

Was not able to check rates for a regular room. It only gave the options for suites and was very expensive

i need a suite (5 people) so it was cool with me
for other resorts i could search "normal" rooms - for example deluxe resorts

Last night I was able to book room only 2012 with AAA, the CM commented that he was happy he was off tomorrow....I laughed with him:lmao: I guess he was right!

How were the AAA rates, about the same as they have been?

I called, they are the same as this year

I was given the choice of "Cars Family Suite" as well as the other 2 choices you mentioned. That is nice for people who want a specific room type, I know I would have liked the chance to reserve a Toy Story room when we stayed at AS Movies, but ended up paying extra for Fantasia, which we could have done without. We would def want Cars if we could stay in the suites, but we will be a family of 8 by then.

The WL club without AAA was $530 per night June 30
$495 July 1-5 and back to $530 for July 6-7 (our dates).

The AAA rate was $487 and $445 respectively, so 10%.

Six day hoppers with Waterparks and more as a package (priced this morning) was $11116.94 for the two club level rooms - 8 nights. Room only is $8231, no tickets. If I added the four - 6 day park hoppers and the one annual pass I want to get, the cost is $657 less than the package.

I really want to get the TIW card because I doubt we will get any free dining plans during our stay.

Good luck with your planning!

I don't have the option to add a dining plan. Has anyone else had this issue today or am I just lucky? ;)

Never mind I figured it out.

Toy Story is preferred too.

Just booked our trip for May 2012! :thumbsup2
I never booked this far in advance. It makes me so excited to start planning!

Also, Art of Animation is opening in phases. Ariel will be one of the last. This is the reason no standard rooms are available to book yet.

I priced out a vacation just to see. Our same package identical dates is around 200.00 more for the same room. I didn't even add the dining plan since we have had it free the past 3 years. We will be back to a value again since they prices are going up but we haven't had a raise in over a year and took a 5.00 a hour pay cut when the economey went south. I'm sure we will go again next year. But these crazy room categories and crazy. Check out POR's.

I hear you! We normally book a moderate and occasionally a deluxe but next year we are going back to a value resort and are excited about our first stay at POP Century. Because of the economy, no raises, rising prices of everything we had to totally skip a trip this year.
