Did packages for 2012 come out this morning?

that would also explain why i had "family suite" and "Nemo Family suite" as my options but no others
ie Nemo will be the only one open in July 2012

When I booked earlier today, I was given the choices between Family Suite, Nemo and Cars.

Oh and yes they did raise ticket prices again this year (earlier than usual also). I'm hoping this early release of rates will result in more discounts being released in the months to come. Hey a girl can dream can't she?

figures all year long i was getting pin codes in the mail , the year we werent going. ill probably get none now. i did notice however, disney does track that I have been checking prices on their website,. i keep getting e-mails now to book my vacation. hoping for a discount... ill take anything at this point, prices sure did go up!

Yes, the packages are normally released at the begining of August. I find this early release strange also. I also don't like that some stuff is available and some stuff isn't. I wish they had waited until August so that everything for the end of this year and everything for the entire next year showed up for availabiltiy - it's easier to compare prices and availability and see when you want to go. As it is now, some stuff is available and some isnt' - I don't like it.

The rates are published, so you can do the leg work and figure it out. But you still can't book more than 499 days out.... Which is why you can't get dates past October.

I know, it just feel like it's a hassle. Wish they would have released in August as usual. We really want to stay at the new AOA resort in the Little Mermaid section. I hope to be able to get 2 connecting rooms there in December. The Mermaid rooms aren't available for booking at all yet.

February 2012 is open - you can book packages through October 20, 2012.

I wanted to compare package pricing in September, October and December and can't do that right now.

The room prices, ticket prices and dining plan are out. You just have to do the math yourself. September is the cheapest. I know this year October and december were the same price. Were going the begining of October and December this year,and it was the same price. It was priced under the Fall rate. It might be the same next year.

Nothing stops you from waiting till August before you check it out. Not like everything will book up in the next 2 months.

good question! i e-mailed my AAA travel agent, she was off today, but i iwill ask her that question too as sometimes a disney rep comes into the office, she also told me before that of course, disboards will probably know first! it seems the poster on her Canadian guy seemed to know alot last year about free dining. im gonna find him and follow him

Discounts will be coming for next year, just like this year and all the years before. The heavy discounts like free dining and large room discounts will come out for the slowest weeks of the year, lesser room discounts and such will come out for most other times and Christmas, Easter/Spring Break, Thanksgiving and mid-summer won't have much at all, if anything. It's a cycle that, really, doesn't change that much from year to year.

I was blindsided never thought they would come out this early! I priced my vacation 2nd week of March at Poly 3 adults one child17 6 day parkhoppers came to 4900 big ones! Hres hpoing for discounts as the year progresses

im actually glad they came out early this year. gives us more time to pay and save. I was thinking about a room only reservation then adding things but now I dont have to. I am hoping for free dining , thinking about upgrading to the contemporary if free dining becomes available. we drive from NJ so the gas prices will factor into that decision too unfortunately
