Did OKW get a water slide?

I thought I read that OKW got a water slide. Can someone please post here if the resort did get one or maybe they are just thinking on getting one.

We own DVC and in our news letter it said that they were going to remodel to pool and add a slide. I'm sure it isn't in yet. I can't remember the start date. But they were changing the pool into a Sand Castle theme. I'm sure you could ask someone on the DVC board and they'd tell you when construction was suppose to start.

The slide will be added at the main pool in the sandbox area. Construction will begin sometime in Sept to be finished in January.

Doc had posted pictures on the DVC board a few weeks back. The slide looked neat.

Thanks everyone. Does this mean the main pool will be closed during this time? I was looking to spend Thanksgiving there but this might change our plans. We love OKW but our ds's really like to use the main pool when we're there.
