Did Oct EMH Days Change?

I thought I read on another post that the days for EMH next week have changed. Can anyone confirm this? I looked at the official WDW site and called CRO. Neither said anything about things being different.

I have all my planning built around EMH and am really hoping that it hasn't changed too much.

Eric. EMH stands for extra magic hours. Some days certain parks open 1 hour early in the morning or stay open 1-3 hours later in the evening. There is a schedule of which parks have EMH's. Only Disney resort guests can take advantage of the EMH's

Wow, I'm glad I'm not going during that time. That's kinda messed up to have AK late one night and the next morning AK early EMH.

Double check the dates.

All websites list MK EMH (morning) on Friday, Oct. 7 and AK EMH (morning) on Saturday, Oct. 8

This is very simple to check. Call Central Reservations Office, (CRO) and ask the cast member to specifically check Oct 8 to see which park is offerning the morning EMH.

Annie is completely correct on all her info.

You can get the CRO to check each of the days she has listed as well, they will all be confirmed.

There are a lot of TGM users who also frequent the Dis. I invited all users to let all the other boards know that there were EMH switches in October that HAVE NOT shown up on the offiicial website - and quite frankly, I dont know if they ever will.

Normally, the dis is always on top of park hour changes or EMH switches, but if it does not go on the official site, how the heck are you suppose to know? And, if a lot of you planned to go on the Saturday to MK on the holiday weekend, which is now an EMH morning, and you showed up an hour late.. that would just suck.

UG touring plans (and most likely DU as well) did not have this information on their sites and according to len testa, the TA disney site is not showing the changes. However -- the CMs who have access to the latest park entertainment schedule (and who tourguideMike uses as a constant source of information) in the CRO are telling us these EMH switches are true.

I did not mean to confuse or anger anyone on the dis -- and in future will not ask the tgm users to report any emh changes, its probably not a very nice experience for them (sorry annie!)

I will say one thing though, any one going in November on the dis, please co confirm the EMH schedule with the CRO a week before you go.

Again, sorry to cause a little uproar, the only thing I wanted to have happen was a leak on the change of EMH's so EVERYONE on all boards would know.

I figured I would get a "She does not know what she's talking about" lecture because the disney site has different EMH's listed. I was just trying to be helpful.

I am a Tourguide Mike subscriber and that is where I got those EMH dates.

You can choose to believe them or not. It's your choice. Like Riley girl/aka peanut said call and confirm them.

I also saw a change, and I thought it was on the official Disney site!! I have limited computer time, and didnt think of calling CRO!! Thanks for that tip!!

I cant tell you how many scratches I have on my itenarary with the changes on the eveing emh hours (which I dont know what or how long the emh is for that week of Oct - 4 - 11 for us!!)

I do know they added a second Spectro Parade on the 8th - 11pm - which suggests to me it must be longer hours on that Saturday??

I do want to thank the 2 posters who are generous enough with their information, and I do hope no one will 'threaten' you for posting it!!

As I mentioned, I did call CRO with my dates and they didn't have access to the new info, which is why I posted the question.

I don't think you caused an uproar at all and am confused by that statement. It was very helpful information and I thank you for the heads up.

The LAST thing I want is for this to turn into another 15 page locked thread regarding TGM. If I had know that is where the info came from originally, I probably wouldn't have posted.

In my opinion, EMH days and park hours shouldn't **have** to be leaked. I am paying a lot of money to get into the parks and the least WDW should do is supply the general public with the most up to date hours for these parks! (just my $.02)

I just got off the phone with CRO after reading this thread. The hours have changed, and the Disney Web site is not yet reflecting the change.


Friday October 7 is now an Extra Magic Morning at Animal Kingdom
Saturday October 8 is now an Extra Magic Morning at Magic Kingdom

Sigh. Seven days away, and already the plan is going off the freakin' rails.

yes.

There are other Disney websites reporting the change in the EMH schedule for this week, I saw posts on this subject on at least one other Disney message board last week.

The only other change is that Epcot and AK have switched evening EMH hours, but that has been on the schedule since October hours were released.

The Magic Kingdom is closing at 9pm and will run Spectromagic on Tuesday, October 4. This is also a change from the earlier schedule release.

That is all that I am aware of, but I haven't made my daily call to Disney yet, LOL

I just love getting nice CM's when I call!!

as reported here I just wanted to add that on the 9th EMH at MGM was 9am - midnight!!

I wasnt sure how long the emh was until - for Oct 6th AK is open until 8pm Oct 8th MK emh morning 8 am - 11PM

and then the extra Spectro on the 8th at MK 9 pm and 11PM parade, and Wishes in the middle at 10pm

(I think we have the epcot is open at 8 am on the 10th?!!) Also do you know there is an extra Fantasmic on Oct 9th Sunday? 7:30 (FDP seating) and then 9pm Fantasmic...
