Did not receive Magical Express Tags

We will be arriving in Orlando on Sunday and we still have not received our magical express tags. I reserved this 5 months ago and when I phoned up member services today they advised me that they have not been mailed out and do not know why. Anyway, they said to pick up my luggage and then go to the bus where they will then let me on. Has this happened to anyone else. I am worried that they will have an issue if I do not have the vouchers,

Others here have said that you don't need the ME luggage tags as long as you have your ME reservation. You can just go to the ME check in desk and give them your info and Baggage tags the airlines gave you and they will take care of the rest, and deliver your bags to your resort.
Have member services check to make sure you are in the system, and if not make sure they get you in.

There is a difference but they will still pickup and deliver your luggage.

If you have the Disney Magic Express tags on your luggage they will pull your luggage before it goes to the luggage carousel.

If you have no Disney Magic Express tags your luggage goes on the carousel and when you check in with Disney Magic Express they will take your airline luggage tag that is attached to your boarding pass to identify and pickup your luggage.

For safety sake I would pick up my own luggage.

This happened to us a couple of years ago. We had to go and get our luggage and then drag it a very LONG way to Magical Express. It was a pain but the plus was that we had it as soon as we got into our room at the resort and didn't have to wait. In the past we've waited hours and hours and hours for it to be delivered. We flew in on Southwest which sends it's luggage to terminal A and then Magical Express is at the far end of Terminal B so be aware it will take some time. In our case, my husband and daughter went and got the luggage while the rest of us sat in comfortable seats near ME and waited.
