Did more rooms just open up for the 4/3?

I was doing my obsessive checking of the WDW site this morning and suddenly there are lots of room categories open at the deluxe resorts that haven't been there before for the 4/3 deal. I called CRO and they said their systems were being ..."enhanced" and they couldn't modify any ressies for a few hours. Anyone else get this message from CRO? I am so frustrated. I want a regular GV at Poly and I am currently booked GVC. I just know they will be gone by the time the "system" is back up. Arghhhhhh....

Thanks for the pixie dust!!! I just got thru to a great CM and modified my ressie to Poly GV and saved more $$$. I am so excited. Now I have a chance to stay in our favorite longhouses of Tokelau or Tahiti.

I tried to switch our Poly Feb. reservation to a GF reservation (now available on-line) but they told me to call back in an hour since they were having trouble with their system.

I cant look up anything online anymore. When I type in our dates (April 2009) to check and see what else is available (yes, compulsive, I know) it keeps coming up as a system error. I dont get why...

I checked online just now and my first choice resort is available! I called though and the gal said they are doing "system enhancements" so she can't check right now. She told me to call back in a couple of hours.

I got in!!!! I called at about 10:40 EST and the computers were done being "enhanced". I was able to change to our first choice resort, and saved an additional $525 on our 4/3 deal!!

Congrats I was so excited when I logged on this morning and saw so many room categories open at GF and Poly. I have been waiting to get into Poly GV. I booked GVC because that was all that was open but now I saved $650+ going to GV and now I can request my fav longhouses. So excited Now I am just waiting for the new dining reservation system to start so I can book our ADRs.

I hope everyone doing the 4/3 deal that settled for a choice other than their fav checks back and gets their 1st choice.

I switched from POFQ to POP. I know...people think I am nuts because they are using this discount to *upgrade. But, my girls really wanted POP. They love the food court and knowing their way around.

Here's the wierd thing. I have two rooms for our Feb. reservation. My in-laws are in the second room. Apparently when I called the first time the CM was able to switch our room from the Poly to the GF, but not the second.

When I called back they said our reservation swithc was fine, but that my in-laws hadn't gone through. Then they said there were no more rooms at the GF for our dates. I told the CM there wasn't anyway I could have our room at the GF and my in-laws at the Poly! I was going to switch our room back to the Poly. The CM said, wait a minute. let me check with guest services. After a long while on hold she came back and said guest services was able to override the system and get both rooms at the GF with the 7/4 deal!

Yes I noticed a TON of resorts are open during the 2 Easter weeks now! In fact, I have changed my dates around 3x so far with no problem, and this is almost unheard of during Easter break.

That would make sense. The packages that they booked with a 7-day courtesy hold are now being released if they haven't been paid w/ deposits.

Well I wish they'd release some Contemporary Tower Magic Kingdom rooms for Jan. 20-27! I was in one before the discount hit, and so far I've worked my way back to Contemporary Tower Bay Lake!
I'll be happy where I am, but it'll be my birthday while we're there and I really wanted to stay in a Magic Kingdom view room...just not enough to possibly sacrifice $2,000 in savings!
