Did MDEx take away anyone else's AIE FP+ in August??

Wondering why MDEx notified me that they were changing my American Idol Exp FP+ for 8/23 to a FP+ for Indiana Jones?
Has this happened to anyone else? I know this is the day for Villains Unleashed party.
This is one of DGrD10s fav attractions and she wanted to see it this trip before it closed.
Closing early? or maybe just for the party day? Anyone??

If I recall correctly, the American Idol Experience is closing. I'm sorry, I can't remember the closing date, but I know there was a thread about it on here.

What time is the show? I'd suspect the Villains party might be the reason. Seem to think it was closing at the end of the year...

The show time I had selected was 1:55- 2:10, so well before the start of the party. Maybe they are closing the show for the day to use that theater that night? They replaced it with Indiana Jones at the same approx time, so they are not closing that show.
I also thought AIE was closing next year, why I was confused.

Perhaps if they can't do the final, they cancel them all for the day?
