We bought the new purex all in one laundry sheets prior to our trip. I packed a few in ziplock bag in my suitcase and they were perfect for our trip! They layed flat and took up no space..plus they made the suitcase smell great! The fact that one sheet goes into the washer and then into the dryer is great! I already put some aside for the next trip!!!

I just bought some of these yesterday in antici........PATION of our trip in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS.............WhooooooooooooooooooP!!!!!!!!!! Okay, thank you for indulging that outburst. I'm going to bring two of them and that should get us through our five days in a TREEHOUSE VILLA. Wheeeeeeeeeeee......!!!!!!!!!!!

Excited much???

Glad you liked them, but I hated them! I bought some to try. Not only did I find they didn't clean well, but they left a replusive scent on my things. I decided I'll stick to the Era liquid I have in my Owner's Locker.

I love them too!! :thumbsup2

I was surprised at how well they clean (and my boys make some dirty clothes!) and I have a sensitive nose but thought they smelled good! lol (I should add that I have the lighter scented ones, can't remember what they are called.)

Have a great vacation!

I saw them at our WalMart in unscented now. When we first purchased them for our August trip they only had the scented. I didn't think they were "good enough" to use at home for our everyday laundry, but for vacation they worked just fine.

Wife has already packed some in our "owner's locker" at home in preparation for our upcoming first Christmas trip . We use them at home now, and think they are great.

I just bought some for our next trip, but my husband pointed out that since they have fabric softener you're not supposed to use them on those newer moisture-wicking fabrics. Anyone know anything about that? (my DH is our laundry guy!).

We just bought a few of those type of shirts this year - which were great for the parks in June - but I don't want to ruin them with the Purex sheets!

(I'm sure I should be on their website looking it up, but you guys are so much more convenient)!

I'm hoping to pick up some tonight to pack away for our trip in three weeks. :cool1: Glad to hear they now have unscented and hopefully I'll be able to find them or else I'll be the only one unable to do laundry on our trip because of allergies.

I just googled it and confirmed that you're not supposed to use fabric softener. Does that mean a separate load of laundry for moisture wicking clothes? What a pain. That's another item DH won't realize should be separated out when he does the laundry. But hey he does do laundry.:)

I'm guessing that the fabric softener in the sheets will leave a coating on the clothing that (at least eventually) will build up and defeat the absorbent properties of those new fabrics (if anyone's wondering, I'm talking about something like an Under Armour HeatGear shirt - Nike and everyone else makes them too). We've (ok husband) been washing them at home w/o fabric softener, but I think for a few trips through the washer at Disney, I'd risk using the sheets anyway!

Someone told me once not to use fabric softener regularly on your towels for the same reason.

By the way, those Purex 3-in-1 sheets are on sale this week at CVS I think (if not there Walgreen's), buy one get one free and they're $8.99 package, so I'd get them now.

Count me in!
Though they are just for our trips. I will look for the Free ones next time.

And yes at home I do a separate load of workout clothes without softener in cold. Also I was taught by my mom not to put softener in with your towels.

I just put the workout clothes in a dirty clothes bag along with the bathing suits(which I also wash in cold w/o softener).

They didn't have the unscented when I first saw them. I'm very sensitive to fragrances, so that's probably why I didn't care much for them.

I have the Pure & Clean Purex Sheets waiting for our trip.

My DS wears UnderArmour for hockey and baseball - I always use a dryer sheet in the dryer. Does not seem to have affected the clothing. DH has a lot of the Nike wicking fabric - and - Ohhhh - it wick's the odor really well also. Something about that fabric that turns the perspiration - sour??? I told him to go back to cotton, it's a lot cheaper too. LOL

I used them on our HHI trip in July. I thought they were great, especially packing them. I used to use mini sized bottles of Tide that I refilled, but they were bulky and leaky and just generally messy.

Wow! DH just bought some of those to wear under his FF uniform....He absolutely loves his new T shirts. He also loves his Under Armor underwear.....who knew they made such a thing. I have used my Unscented Bounce dryer sheets with them and they have done fine. I also use Unscented Tide.

Has anyone seen these in store lately? I'm still holding onto some from August and would like to switch to the unscented! I hope they weren't a quick trend in stores!
