Did Kerry Cheat At the Debate?

Well, Kerry obviously HAD a piece of paper. . .he was writing on it and making notes on it throughout the debate. . .how can one deny he wasn't writing on something. . .unless he was writing on the podium itself.

I had assumed it was blank notepaper until this allegation came out. WHy wouldn't his camp state it was just notepaper if it was just notepaper?

There was paper provided on the podium...for both candidates

But where is the pen? If that was a crib sheet it was pretty tiny. Proves that he has excellent eyesight I guess.

And more to the point...if there was a sheet wouldn't there have been film of him putting it away?

This is a joke. You people have far better ammunition than this don't you?

Since you love the sludgereport so much Dawn, I'm quite sure you won't question the authenticity of the report that your big scandal has turned into a nothing story.....as usual.

But the mystery was solved when The Post reviewed a Fox News Channel feed from Thursday's debate: Kerry pulled out . . . a black pen.

That should put an end to this ridiculous thread, but never worry Dawn has been busy scouring the sludge report and has moved on to other trash news to spread...

It's must be very hard work trying to keep everyone's attention off the fact that Bush blew the debate and Kerry is enjoying a huge bounce. :rotfl:

Define HUGE

Define HUGE

I call coming from being as much as 11 points down (unless the poster who provided that stat was lying of course when it was posted not long ago) to being at the very least a statistical tie in a matter of a couple of days.

The other definition would be drawn from all the ridiculous threads being started trying to keep the subject off the polls and Bush's poor performance at the debate.

There are several people who apparently think it's huge and they're not all Dem's.:teeth:

Apparently one point is huge.

How convenient that you only listen to the one poll that happens to be the most conservative in it's numbers in regards to Kerry.

Has Ramussen been your poll of choice all along or has it just become your fave since the debates?:teeth:

I may dig up some of the recent threads touting the 11 point lead. It might be interesting to see who was posting on the subject.

Just for starters...

From 9/03/04

Thanks for the story --- it made my weekend, along with Bush's 11 point lead over Kerry.

What poll was that???

The search continues....

Nope. Actually Newsweek is the outlier poll. LA Times supports the notion of a small bump, for example. As I said earlier in the thread, the right does not have a corner on citing polls they like when they are discussed on this board.

Ironically,Rasmussen's poll has been a favorite of the Kerry campaign.

I'd still like to know your defintion of a HUGE post debate bounce.

So, pulling even is HUGE? Interesting. I'll reserve comment on what that really suggests.

Yes, when you're 11 points down, to go to a tie in just a matter of days is huge. Time will tell as to the trend.

My bet is had Kerry dropped 11 points, you would have thought that was huge as well.

Please do. I'm sure you'll want to look up those that were dismissing polls when Bush was up as well as those that were busily posting polls when Kerry was up.

While you're at it, could you research the trash spreading and see who is posting there as well? I find this fascinating.

Please hurry, the anticipation is killing me.

Richard

Nah, I only bother with searching for the things I claim are true. It's not my job to prove your claims are valid.

Good polls or bad, it sure seems like they are all over the place. This from the last paragraph in the ABC/Washington post story on their newest poll that shows the President up 5.

Other surveys also released Monday showed large variation, suggesting great volatility in the electorate following last Thursday's debate. A poll by Gallup found support for Kerry had increased significantly since the debate and the race was now deadlocked. A Zogby poll had Bush ahead by a single percentage point, largely unchanged from a pre-debate poll. But a Pew Center for the People & the Press poll found Bush with a 5-point advantage, essentially the same as its survey released before Thursday's debate.

ANYWAYS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

HE DIDN'T CHEAT!!! As I said it would have been all over. Now that we know (I always knew along with the rest of the world) I see this has become a bashing thread and questioning his lead (may be small but it is there for now). I am sure they will go back and forth from now until the election. I have no idea who will win but these SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE versions of this debate and probably the future ones should stop. NO ONE cheated is was all fair on both sides.

LIVE FROM NEW YORK...........

This was apparently pulled from the trash after the debate: :teeth:
