I was nosing around checking closure dates for rides and saw that Maelsrom's new Frozen Forever Ride may open up May 1st! I thought I saw something about a new meet and greet with Anna and Elsa! Is this true?

Ppo won't help as the counties don't open up till 11. Unless you were going to sit there for 3 hours in line

It remains to be seen if the new attraction in Froway will remain closed until 11:00a. It may well open earlier if it proves to be enormously popular, especially since it is located in an area already accessible by guests well before 11:00a.

When A& E were in Norway previously, the M&G did open earlier and we did use a PPO to get in line early. Many people even paid the cancellation fee and did not attend the breakfast just to get in line before the park opened. They just walked directly there and got in line. As PP mentioned who know what the schedule will be but this M&G will be enormously popular with very long waits.

Since ADR's can be canceled I would rather have the reservation and cancel if the M&G does not take place until later. Better safe than sorry. Besides it would be nice to get pictures of the Worlds with very few people in the shots.

We were there in January 2014 and got in line when Epcot opened but the meet & greet did not start until the opening time of World Showcase which was an hour after Epcot opened. Still not bad though as we only waited an hour and 45 minutes to see them and that was back when the waits were 4-5 hours.

Admittedly off-point, but I think you meant two hours. Epcot FW opens no later than 9:00a, every day. Epcot WS has opened at 11:00a every day for as long as I can remember.

An Olaf M&G is really needed. DS could care boo about the princesses, but he would love to meet Olaf They had better have FP+ for that thing

I have to agree!! I was able to talk one of my boys into doing the A&E M&G back in May 2014 but he was a bit disappointed when he did not see Olaf. Now if they could add the reindeer as well that would totally make my boys day!!!

If the area does open before the rest of World Showcase, you will not have access to the other countries. The area is roped off and manned by CM's. World Showcase opens at 11, not 9.

We saw A&E in Epcot on 4/4/14 (we were in WDW for a long weekend for my DS's 16th birthday). We had an early ADR at Akershus and lined up for the M&G that opened at 9am.

I seem to recall that when it first opened, it didn't open until 11. Then in the wake of 5-7 hour waits, they did change to a 9 AM opening for the meet & greet.

I hope so! Although DGD, now 7, has made it clear that she doesn't want any Frozen stuff for Christmas or birthday, she did complain that she wishes she could meet A&E together again! (On our trip in 2014 they were together but in 2015 they were separate.) So the 5-hour waits may be gone, but it might still be hard to get FP+ for A&E.

From the left side of World Showcase, you can travel as far as Norway.

From the right side of World Showcase, you can travel as far as France.

You won't have access to countries located between France and Norway.

we did this one year.....went around the world early to take pictures. IMHO I felt like I wasted time, because half of the experience was inside the pavilions. However, if I was writing a blog or doing vlog work, this might be a great time for media types. I just found myself bored. I really think the world showcase comes alive with the people, shopping and food. But you are spot on about getting good architectural photos without tons of people!

You only have access to Mexico and Norway. The countries between Norway and France are not accessible.
