did i miss this last year?

i was just looking on the official disney site at all of the xmas special events. dd and i went last dec for the 1st time at this time of year. we did not watch the AK parade as we had seen it before, and although i think it's one of the best, dd is not really a "parade person" now i see the parade is called the Jingle Jungle parade. did they have a xmas themed parade last year too? can't believe we missed this, we tried to make sure we caught most of the special events well....it is certainly being fit into my plans for this dec

Where did you see mention of this?

I just checked a few random dates on the official WDW site (including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) and they all list the standard "Jammin' Jungle Parade."

I don't know where katypop found this, but if you go to WDW website, click on calendar, then Dec. 2004, then scroll down to Animal Kingdom you will see it. Don't know if this link to it will work or not.

It's a new holiday parade at AK they're starting this year. It's a take on the Jammin' Jungle Parade with a holiday twist. It'll have Santa Goofy.

This is the first I've seen of this. We love the regular Jammin' Jungle Parade and we'll be looking forward to this new parade at XMAS!

Guess we didn't miss it last year, sounds like it's new yipee! i did find this on the WDW official site i was looking at the dec calendar and clicked on special events and found this! i am also looking forward to the Osborne lights as we missed them being there last year.

I believe this is a new parade. I first read about it in Vacation Magic, the DVC publication. We had not planned on going to AK this year, but we may try to see this new parade.
