I just bought this Pin on Ebay because it's cute and it had a buy it now for 99cents. The shipping was $4.99. I hope this is a good pin because I don't find it on pinpics.

What do you guys think...

Let me know...I'm no expert but I like Donald!

I found it on Pin Pics, #5828. It is a Japan Disney Store pin. I would say that 99 cents is great for almost any pin! The most important thing is you like the pin. That is the best way to enjoy a collection.

I agree with Dom.

I even agree, considering the exorbitant shipping cost. You might actually look at this purchase as you paid $4.99 for this pin and $.99 for shipping. Still a good deal.

If you're new to bidding on pins on auction sites, you may want to watch for a couple of things:

1. Always check the shipping and handling costs. (If they're not stated, and the seller won't respond to a question about the cost before the auction ends...I wouldn't bid.)

2. Know what you're buying. Check pinpics. If you don't have any luck there, ask here. IF you don't want to post the link for all to see, then send an email to one or two of the (ir)regulars.

Come to think of it....My suggestion #1 applies to all auctions -- not just pins. :D

And, finally, I have this pin in my permanent collection. It is one of my favorites! :teeth:

This is so cool.
Donald is one of my favorites and I like the little hat...

I just looked at it as $5.98 for the pin. I think I did good.

Thanks for the advice folks. I'm going to get hooked...right?!?!?!;)

Learned that one the hard way ... I ordered several pins and didn't ask ahead of time. The seller charged me nearly $5 and when I got the envelope it had $0.75 of postage on it. Ah well ... lesson learned :p
