Hi we're here now. Last night we got to the wwohp at 4p waited 1.5 hrs for fb. Amazing! Finished the ride, walked into 3 Broomsticks fir dinner, followed by walking into Honeydukes. Other than the FJ wait there were no waits!

This a.m. We were in th world by 7:45 am, did Ollivanders, dh & ds did the Dragon Challenge, rode Hipogriff, saw Hogwarts express and were done by 9am! We did and saw everything, may head back in am to do fj one last time.

Also, butterbeer carts everywhere but everyone lined up in front if the big one by Honedukes...go figure! Bought a wand to put spells on people at work ;-)

I would highly suggest staying on property the early entry is great and couple that with hotel express can't be beat! So the eat of the day ( and right now) was spent in a cabana by the pool!

Sorry for any typos... Using my iPhone to post

We stayed at Royal Pacific and it was awesome. The experience to stay in such a fine hotel is worth the price, the express line access makes it almost stupid not to.

:cool1: Thanks for the update! A little over a month to go and we are getting SO excited. We're only staying at the Royal Pacific for one night but I'm going to milk the Express pass for all it's worth. :lmao:

Does it seem like crowds for WWoHP have leveled off a tiny bit or am I being foolishly optimistic?

Yesterday at 10a the line for Harry started in front of Confisco. One thing to keep in mind the wait time on the board for FJ includes your time to get a locker. The lockers are good for 2 hrs free, however if they have down time, etc they increase the free time on the lockers. So don't worry the time won't run out before you are off the ride.

We went on Monday, July 5th, arrived at around 7:15 AM, waited in line at the park entrance for ten minutes at the most before they let us in, we were heading out of the park by 8:15 AM after having done FJ and both coasters, lined up at USF, let in at 8:30 AM, they opened HRRR around 8:45 AM and by 9:00 AM we were finished with that ... made for a leisurely rest of the day after we had finished all the must-do's!

Wow, that's terrific! Seems like the lines have really calmed down!

Thanks for the post - we will be arriving Sunday at RPR for three nights - can't wait! Have been to US/IOA but never on-site or with passes.:cool1:

If you are staying onsite and the opening time is posted as 9AM for IOA, what time do you suggest really showing up?

Posted opening time if you are staying onsite is 8 am (since you get 1 hour early entry). However, people have been saying that they have been let in around 7:30 lately. So you want to be there by 7-7:15.

I was there tonight and the crowd was dying down for everything but Ollivanders and FJ. No lines on the coasters or for the stores and a tiny line for butterbeer. Surprisingly the FJ singles line was down the stairs and out a little ways! Never saw that before. I had a blast just walking around, soaking the ambiance, watching the Frog Choir and chatting with the Conductor.

We stayed on-site the day before the opening. We were told we'd get in the park early (didn't happen). However, we did stay at the same hotel as the HP cast which was very exciting. Especially since they were in our wing and stayed in the lobby most of the night.

We got in yesterday, Friday, and today, Saturday, between 7:15 and 7:30. Today we rode FJ stopped for a bit and took pictures and we were heading back to RPR to have breakfast by 8:10.

If staying off site. As we were leaving at 8am-ish offsite people were arriving. Also, if you are coming from off site you may want to hold off trying to get into WWOHP until after 3 or 4pm. Even though we were on site, on Thurs we didn't go until 4p and were able to walk right in. You may want to do that and knock off the "lesser" rides/attractions so then you can concentrate on the major ones when you get in early.
