No, I only got 2 emails telling me about their new "security" procedure.......

We want to go in March or April, stay in a deluxe, so it wouldn't have helped me anyway........

I got the e-mail. The discount ends 9 days before I get there. I guess I keep waiting.

Man, this is a major bummer. I think the discount is for the period of time I will be there but I didn't get the E-mail either. I wonder too if it is because I am already booked to go.

DISNEY - IF YOU ARE LISTENING, I AM WILLING TO SPEND MORE THAN THE AAA PC RATE I AM BOOKED AT JUST GIVE ME A SHOT! I want to go to the AKL. I want to give you more money per night - I just don't want to give you as much as rack rates are for AKL.

Maybe they only send them to people who aren't already booked for those dates???? Can anyone confirm they got one and they already have a booking? I didn't get one, but I am already booked.

I tried to use a friends before and was rejected. It won't work for anyone but you.

I too hope they are looking, I am willing to go to another resort and pay more....not rack rates though and give up the AAA discount and give up staying at the NEW RESORT. Give me an email so I can spend more money at Disney!!!! Come on, I want too.

I HAVE BEEN BOOKED FOR MONTHS. AT FIRST WE WERE BOOKED FOR CBR(BEFORE OUR 7 NT CRUISE), BUT A FEW WEEKS AGO WE CHANGED TO CSR.I JUST CALLED AND CM "RON" AT FIRST DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. EACH YEAR, I BOOK EARLY AND HAVE THE RATE ADJUSTED. WE ALMOST ALWAYS GO IN JAN-FEB THEN AGAIN IN MAY ...BOTH TIMES DUE TO THE DISCOUNTS. WELL, I DIDNT GET AN EMAIL AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING. I ALMOST ALWAYS BOOK EARLY AND IN THE PAST ALWAYS GOT AN EMAIL OR MAILING SENT TO OUR HOUSE. THE CM (WHEN HE FIGURED OUT WHAT EMAIL WITH PIN I WAS TALKING ABOUT) AT FIRST SAID" DID YOU CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS?" I LET HIM KNOW THAT OF COURSE I DIDNT....THEN HE SAID THAT "ITS OUT OF HIS HANDS" AND TO EMAIL WDW.GUEST.COMMUNICATIONS@DISNEYWORLD.COM AND LET THEM KNOW. WELL, I DID AND I CALLED A FRIEND WHO IS BOOKED FOR THE END OF FEB, SHE GOT ONE. SO DID MY NEIGHBOR WHO WILL BE THERE THE BEGINNING OF JAN. SO, I DONT KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS I DO KNOW THAT MY HUBBY WILL WANT TO SWITCH OUR RESSIES OFFSITE(THERE ARE GREAT DEALS) AND I DONT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN.I CANT STAND BEING OFF PROPERTY. BUT, WE ARE SPENDING A TON OF$$$ BETWEEN THE CRUISE, THE RENTAL MINIVAN, WDW TIX, ETC. AND TO SAVE $100.00 ON A ROOM IS HUGE RIGHT NOW FOR HIM. WHAT DO I DO? ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CM PLAYS DUMB AND THEN IS NOT HELPFUL TO GUESTS WHO COME BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR........I ALSO RECEIVED THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY EMAILS. My Disney Vet friend warned me not to book more than 1.5 months in advance, due to the codes. I don't know if she is correct or not, but I sure feel peeved now.

I just got the email. I had made reservations about two weeks ago for 14 nights - split between moderate resorts - the email I got was the one for deluxe resorts from $109 per night - no standard view rooms available at WL but I did get standard view at AKL for that rate! Never stayed at a deluxe so I'm excited!

I'm registered and I didn't get an email, HOWEVER, I did receive an email that appeared to be from Disney a couple of days ago. Something about updating their privacy policy. Since I had no way of telling if this was bogus, I deleted it. Did anyone else get this thing? I'm wondering if by not responding, they took me off the list.

I don't think they would remove you if you failed to respond. Check your trash, maybe you can see what it's about still.

I din't get that email, but I keep getting them about the Kids Stay and Play Free.

I received the privacy email from Disney and responded to it and I didn't get the discount email either. I've never gotten a discount email!

Okay, that's it. I have to get a job with WDW CR and move back to Orlando so I can give all my DIS friends the rewards they so deserve. Maybe I can get a great discount working there!

I sure didn't get one (and could have used it, too), but then again I never get half the stuff people do on here. I never got the privacy notice, or the security notice, or the what's new letter. The only things I get are sales notices from the catalog and, occasionally, a letter begging me to get a Visa. Other than that, nada. And I'm subscribed to every list at disneyworld.com, I take every survey and register for every sweepstakes that I can find. It just seems to be something that they pull out of their hats. Oh well, I have an AP so I'll just keep holding out for that.

As of 12:30, I haven't gotten any discount email, and that's actually when we'll be down there. We've been waiting to book the room b/c of no discounts, and now that there is one, I don't get it.
I just got somthing the other day about the sales at the DS, but no discunts. Hopefully it'll come later today.
