Did everyone on Disney's list receive a resort discount e-mail?

Miffy, I got that privacy policy update e-mail and disregarded it as you did; however, I still received the discount e-mail so I guess there isn't any correlation.

Wow, I really wish I could give my discount to someone since we can't use it ourselves. Bummer.

I didn't get a discount email either. I did get 2 privacy emails , one which I responded to, and the other I deleted. I also get the Disney Insider, so I know that I must be on their list.

I guess they don't like me.

Disney employs several travel psychics, people who "sense" when someone is about to take a vacation or is planning one. Said psychics sit in an air-conditioned room in the basement of the Haunted Mansion, gazing at lists of WDW visitors, people registered on the Disney website, etc. If they "see" that there's very little possibility that a particular person would use a discount code, they okay the name and immediately an email and/or postcard is sent off.

All right, I can hear the objections. You're saying: But what about the people who get the postcards/emails and they can use them? Well, I didn't say the psychics were perfect, did I?

THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE NOT GOING UNTIL JUNE, SO I AM WAITING FOR A CODE,AAA, OR AP DISCOUNT TO COME OUT.

Didn't get one here either. And this time I could actually use it! I've gotten them in the past at times we were not going.

I'm hoping this is a good sign some AP rates are coming. I haven't heard of too many postcards or any room only discounts in a while soooooo maybe the AP rates will be out soon!

I received the email for the moderates. I've never received any postcards or emails before, and I can't use this one!

If this helps anyone trying to figure out who gets what when: 4/03 we stayed at CR (SOG) and POR 5 nights each. Recently requested WDW and DCL videos, and stated in our request form we will be travelling 12/04.

We have DC (for another month!) and Disney Visa. I didn't get the privacy email, but receive the Insider.
