Hey guys, just checking for similar stories...

We used to get monthly emails from Disney Destinations, sometimes pins, sometimes the "Hello", but always something.

Now, we haven't gotten anything in months. I checked my "communications" and it still says I want it...

Has this happened to anyone else?

PINS are random as far as anyone can tell, and DH hasn't gotten a "hello" newsletter since Feb 21, but he did get a PIN code in April. Their newsletter problem may be a result of their new website. I would worry too much about it. I'm sure they'll get it all sorted out eventually.

We used to get pins all the time but we don't get them anymore (haven't got one in over a year). We used to get 2-3 a year.

I never get Pins or emails anymore either. Used to get them all the time.

i've gone to DW 6 times since 1999 and i have NEVER recieved a pin code :confused3 even ordered maps & planning videos. :guilty:

I've said this before, but I really don't think the pin codes are random. It makes no logical sense. Why would they randomly send people stuff when they have info their customers willingly gave them at their disposal. Why not send out offers designed to entice the customers that they want, or to draw people to resorts or at times of year that aren't selling as well. Maybe the FD pins are going to ppl with smaller families or who historically make cheaper food choices, so they can maximize the money made. I think people who fit specific marketing profiles get them. We just don't know all that variables, so it seems random.

Anyhow, this is one pin I haven't gotten, and I would never use it. Free dining doesn't work for us.

That would make me a perfect candidate with my last two trips at Value resorts with 2 adults only. Oh well. Not going to cry over being left out. The only PINs I've ever received are for 10 or 15% off room rates which has always been less than the current promotion. Wah, wah!

I've never stayed at WDW (although have visited the parks for two days) and don't live in the US, yet I've been getting PINs for years. I'm not sure what marketing profile I would fit.

Between DH & me, we have 6 now email addresses on file with Disney. We've been to WDW 8 times over the last 10 years. We used to get the monthly Hello emails and PIN codes. We haven't gotten anything from Disney in well over a year now. I've tried everything in the book: creating a new user ID with a new email address, requesting maps & DVD's, saving offers (even though you can't really do that on the new website it seems). I check my spam folder regularly, and there's nothing in there.

So...not that it helps...but you're not alone: they forgot us, too. :confused3
