Did Christina Aguilara Just "scream" the Star Spangled Banner?

I don't think anyone would have minded if she forgot some of the lines if she had done a good job singing but she didn't. Even the best singers forget their lines sometime but give me a break she should be use to singing in front of millions of people. Hopefully the NFL will get someone who can actually sing next time to sing our Natinal Anthem

No, I don't think it's time for a new National Anthem. It's time for people to learn the one we have! We can learn the words to all of the popular songs and quote movies by the dozen, so I'm pretty sure we could learn this very important song.

She got the lyrics right, but she chopped the song up.

Sad when we don't even recognize when the words are WRONG.

Here is what they should be:

Christina Aguilera really messed up her chance to be good in front of around 100 million television viewers. All she really had to do was to sing it straight and to the music as written. All of the tremolo was excessive and took away from the rendition that she could have sung without any trouble.

She was great at the NBA Finals with the same song, but she didn't try as much to draw attention to herself. Her life is not stable at this time, and it shows in her performance last night.

It's too bad, she flubbed it badly.
