Did anyone watch Wife Swap last night?

I know it was a repeat, but I wondered if anyone else watched the Wife Swap episode with the Wiccan priestess and the housewife who was so devoted to her family's needs? She doesn't even own her own clothes -- she just wears her husband's hand-me-downs!

I didn't watch this Wife Swap episode, but I did take a look at her manual you posted ----- OMG Now some of that stuff she says sounds unbelievable to me. How can anyone allow themselves to be treated like a slave??? Good luck to her boys trying to find wives who'll be like her. I think she is so extreme that her type must be quite rare.

I didn't see the show but I read part of the link. That's scary. I don't know whether to be relieved or more frightened that she doesn't have daughters. On one hand she won't be raising any women to feel this way, but her son are not going to be finding wives suitable to their liking.

It's very important to look beautiful for my man so every morning I do my hair and makeup, and I retouch it before my boys get home for the day. Just because we are in a settled relationship doesn't mean I will let myself go. It's important that Kyle stays interested and I don't want to embarrass Austin in case his friends come over. Who wants to look like a big squirrelly hag?

I know! She was actually pretty cute, but I couldn't believe her attitude towards her clothing. If I looked like her, I definitely wouldn't be dressing in men's clothes.

What I'd love to know is who got her started on that lifestyle. Did she bring it into the marriage? Or did he? He's about 10 years older than her, but he honestly didn't seem to be THAT much of a control freak on the show. I remember seeing another show where the man was "king of his castle" and he was extremely controlling.

That woman -- man, she really does think she's a real goddess, doesn't she? She seemed so full of herself.

I actually liked both husbands. Normally when I watch this show, I want to kick the men, but these two guys seemed okay and pretty willing to change some things.

I saw it as well my boyfriend kept on saying that it couldn't be real because both families were so out there. It seems like both families are making some changes though which is what the wife swap experience is all about!

I don't remember the whole story, but the priestess lady had a live journal. Apparently, she and her husband are actually seperated. The show made them play their whole lifestyle up. The plate he smashed was nothing.

Man that show is so entertaining. They always find the most extreme women to swap lives/families. It's so amusing. But that woman's handbook...ugh. Talk about backwards. She really was like a maid and not a wife or mother. I agree with whatever poster said the sons are going to have a hard time finding a wife. After growing up with a mom like that I'm sure no woman could compare
