I'm proud to say that I LOVED the newest episode, "Broke". I'm happy that the whole Dunder-Mifflin Scranton "family" is back together again. Honestly, I hated Charles Miner. He didn't appreciate Jim enough - because of one small prank he pulled on the day Charles arrived, Jim was treated like a total slacker, which he isn't. I mean sure, he made them work harder than they did when Michael was their boss, but it seemed like he didn't connect with them enough, the way Michael did. He just saw them as the people who worked for him, and nothing more. I'm glad Michael, Ryan, and Pam stood their ground in the confrence room, and didn't totally back down like I thought they would. Michael was assertive, and didn't settle for just anything. I'm also glad that Pam didn't get her old job back, because then it wouldn't be any different than the way it was before, and it's what she wants to be doing. She makes a good salesperson anyway...did you see how well she settled that deal with "Russell from the pancake luncheon" in 'Michael Scott Paper Company'? I think she'll do well, and she'll finally be happy again. I'm hoping that Ryan does more now that he's back from Fort Lauderdale and finally sober. I'm starting to like him better now, since he's been less cocky and more business-minded. But I think after everything that happened the first time he got fired, they might stick him in the warehouse or something and make him work his way back up, to prove himself. I'm curious to see what happens between Michael and Dwight now that Michael's back as Reigional Manager, and after Dwight tried to rat him out to Charles. I think he'll try to gain Michael's trust back, which should be funny to see. Something that I just thought of: with Ryan back at DM, will Kelly try and hit on him now that Charles is gone? And will Dwight and Angela get back together? I guess I'll have to wait and see...
Since there are only 2 episodes left of Season 5, I don't think Jim and Pam's wedding will air until Season 6. I can't wait to see how that all pans out...I'm guessing it'll be just as chaotic as Phyllis and Bob Vance's wedding, but they'll make it special, since we've all been hoping they'd work out from the beginning.

Sorry for my rambling...it's just that this was the first episode I've loved in a long time, and I'm super excited to see what happens next week. What did you think of "Broke", and what do you want to see next?

P.S. I looked on OfficeTally.com, and the next two episodes are titled "Casual Friday" and "Company Picnic". I'm guessing that next week, Michael's famous "fun jeans" are back; and that the season finale should be interesting, since I'm guessing that all the DM branches in the Northeast will be there. Looks like a Jim/Karen reunion is in the works...should be funny, since she's married and was pregnant the last time we saw her in "Lecture Circuit"

I love the Office. I was so proud of Micheal for going after his dreams, and I'm honestly sad that his company didn't work out. I was hoping it would with some help from Pam.

Oh well, now the family is back together. Pam being a salesperson is going to rock, I cannot wait to see that!

Ryan is still pretty annoying. His yellow hair is really really awful looking, but I suppose it's good that he's sober now.

Haha, I almost wet myself when I first saw him as a blonde. You're right, he can still be annoying, but I think he's grown up a bit since he got fired. Wait, nevermind, he partied in Ft Lauderdale. Maybe he still has some growing up to do.

I liked that episode...very funny (as usual)
I actually liked Charles Minor...I thought the fact that he was just SO serious was hilarious...and I thought that having him there made Jim even FUNNIER.
(and I like Idris Elba = the actor who played him lol)
But I'm glad that everything's back to normal (just as I figured would happen)

I have to say I smiled when David Wallace got his behind handed to him by Michael! Nice. And that Pam gets to be a salesperson! That's cool.
But I hope they don't include the new receptionist in the plot very much. Blech, new people...I don't take kindly. (except Andy...he was an excellent addition!)

I love the Office oh so much. I look forward to every thursday :thumbsup2
Can't wait to see what happens next.

I think Charles made Jim look like a HUGE slacker, which he isn't. If he were a slacker, how could he have become DM's ninth best salesman? Now that he's gone I think the episodes are going to be better. The only reason I like the new receptionist is because it's hilarious to watch Dwight and Andy hit on her - did you see them serenading her in the break room?:lmao: Speaking of Andy, he was - and is - the only new addition I've liked. I despised Karen, she seemed like such a *****, and I knew she was only there so they could have Jim be with someone else other than Pam, which I hated. I loved the way they ended the episode with Michael posing on Jim's desk...made me feel like things were back to normal. Also, I now look forward to Thursdays more than the weekends(:

Who's your favorite? I've adored Jim from the very beginning; he's the kinda guy I wanna marry. To be honest, if Pam weren't engaged to him (and if he were real), I'd probably be dating him. :rotfl:

I love the Jim & Pam relationship, my BF reminds me so much of Jim, it's awesome! teeheehee.

Ummm...my fave character....goodness honestly I can't even pick!!!
It's a 3 way tie b/t dwight, jim & michael.

I'll have to show you guys all the Office paraphernalia in my room sometime. hahah.
I have a dwight poster, i <3 jim stickie notes, an i <3 jim tshirt, and a calendar. haha And I had a dwight bobblehead but my dog broke it. :sad1:
no michael-related items though, i have yet to really see too many.

But those 3 are definitely my faves. I love all the characters though. It's truly such a brilliant show!!

And I know this is completely blasphemous. (particularly because I'm such a huge fan of Ricky Gervais) but I sorta kinda like it a tiny bit better than the UK version. (eep! sorry Ricky!! i still love you!) I just find that the characters are more relateable and likeable

Ryan used to have this whole 'I'm better than you' facade on. Now he's just letting his *******-ness reign free and it's slightly entertaining.

I liked Charles Miner just because of the way he made the other characters act. Angela hitting on him and Jim being ignored! It just mixed things up. I loled at the most recent episode, because it shows that Miner is just like everyone else, he's a total kiss *** to Wallace.

Please please please just let the new receptionist be ignored. We don't need anymore relationship drama between Andy and Dwight!

My favourite character...it's too hard to choose. I like everyone for different reasons. Jim because he's hilarious. Pam because she's so normal. Dwight because he's the exact opposite of normal. Micheal because he doesn't see boundries. Andy because of his awesome banjo playing. Kevin because he's...Kevin-y. Meredith because she just said 'the hell with it' and goes after whatever she can find. Angela because of her cat-addiction. Kelly because she's so terribly clingy. Stanley because his voice is so monotone. (Yes, I could go on forevers.)

That was a very good episode. Im glad Charles is gone! Yes, it was funny to see the reactions of Angela and Kelly... then just see him look like an idiot for favoring Dwight :rotfl: but im glad he's not there anymore.
I think Dwight really looked like a freak this season. I mean, of course he's always a freak, but they made him look even crazier than usual. Like he should be locked up somewhere in a mental house lol. I still love him though, the show would never be the same if he got fired forever. I can't wait for Thursday now!

I'm DYING to get the "I ♥ Jim" shirt (because I really do love Jim:laughing:), but I know I'd get strange looks if I wore it in public...I'm thinking of asking for the calendar for my birthday.

I also have a three way tie, but it's between Jim, Michael, and Pam (but leaning more towards Jim...teehee). I wish I worked at Dunder Mifflin, it's one of my dream jobs:lmao:

I'm sooo glad the whole DM team is back together now.
I never liked Charles. He was a fun sucker!
Ryan's hair is quite the eye sore. O_o

My favorite character HAS to be Jim. He cracks me up. I love his little looks at the camera he makes when awkward things happen.

Charles defintely was a fun sucker...sounds like something Michael would say:laughing:.

Don't even get me started on Jim...I've loved him since the very beginning. I totally get what Pam sees in him. His timing on the "camera faces" is always perfect! :D Wasn't it hilarious when, after it showed Charles being all super-nice to David Wallace, it goes to Jim, and all he does is make that really exaggerated kissy-face?? I almost fell off my couch laughing:lmao:

Oh, and about Ryan's hair...the first time I saw it, I laughed so hard I cried!
