Did anyone see Katie Couric on the Tonight Show??

DH did not set the VCR properly (I have been begging for TIVO LOL) and it did not tape I saw the re-cap this morning and it looked like she had fun, but was just wondering what anyone who saw it thought.

I watched the very beginning. DD asked to stay up and watch the start of the show. You could tell that she wasn't used to telling jokes, but she was cute, I thought. I think she did have a good time with it.

She seemed nervous in the beginning. Once she was behind the desk and had company out on stage she seemed to relax and have fun.

She had celebs that had pre-taped "advice" for her. One dude (I didn't recognize) told her not to mix Nyquil and quaaludes...he even had a lime green shirt on. I was like, "Willy, is that YOU???"

I like the fact that they sawed the desk... and the remarks about the Chippendales


She actually did a great job, and well, you could tell she was out of her element at first, but she did enjoy it!

I heard that Mike Myers was on the show and asked Americans to support Toronto now that SARS is contained just like Canadians supported New York when their tourism was suffering after 9/11.

No, I didn't see her on the tonight show but my son literally bumped into her a few days ago. He went on a mini-trip to L.A. and decided to go shopping on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and was looking at something in a store window and turned around and didn't look where he was going and bump!! LOL He apoligized of course and said that she was very sweet.
