After the whole SaveMore.com fiasco I decided to see what else I hadn't received yet.

LivingSocial had a deal in Dec. for 5 big macs and 5 large fries for $8. I ordered it and haven't received it (some coupon book I think.)

I have emailed but haven't heard back.

Anyone else?

I purchased the McDonald's deal and received it. Its a regular size piece of paper folded in 1/2 with promotiona info and the coupons. We've alrealdy use all but 1 of each, really wish I told my hubby to get the deal also.

Sorry you have not received yours:sad1:

Yes we received ours nearly a month ago...
I looked on the coupon for a number for you but
didn't find one. Sorry I'm no help for you:sad2:

We purchased and received ours about 3 weeks after the promotion. Hope you get to the bottom of things.

I got mine also. Makes me wish I would have had my mom order one also. Great for a college kid like myself.

Well, shoot. Now I wonder if I accidentally threw it away.

I received mine in time to put it in my son's Christmas stocking. It wasn't $8, though, I paid $13. It came in a pretty nondescript envelope. My son tossed it aside when he dug it out of his stocking :rotfl:.

I got mine and have had no trouble using them. The free oatmeal coupon in there was a nice bonus!

For anyone redeeming them, watch the total at the register.

I used 1 Big Mac and 1 Fries certificate last week and it came up as $1.50 for the Big Mac and $1.00 for the Fries. The manager tried to tell me that the certificates don't make the items free and you still have to pay a discounted price for them :sad2: Thankfully, another manager was there who told him how to deduct the rest of the balance but I could see it being a problem if you order other stuff and aren't watching closely.

The McD's here have a sign on their drive thru, that says "please tells us of any living social deals prior to ordering". I used it once before for the movie tickets, but that was an online code used through fandango.

I almost missed the envelope too. It was sort of nondescript. It came very soon after I ordered.

Haven't tried to use them yet since we avoid fast food. I thought it would be good while driving on vacation.

I had this happen too at our McDonalds but it was because the cashier forgot to deduct it off. They were really nice and apologized multiple times. I agree to watch your receipt because I almost didn't catch it.

We got ours shortly after ordering.

I'm sorry you didn't get yours. Maybe contact Living Social?

This happens to me every time I go to one particular McDonald's (unfortunately, the closest one I work to). The first time I was buying some other things so I didn't even notice the $1.50 charge and sent a question to the McDonald's website asking if they were supposed to be free or just discounted (since the word "free" isn't on the coupon). They sent me a letter apologizing, that they were supposed to be free, and gave me a $5 gift card.

Then I went back and got just a Big Mac and the woman says my total will be $1.5X. I explained that no, it's actually free but I have to pay the tax. She looks irritated and says "Yes, I know. $1.5X IS the tax". I about fell out of my car. How expensive is a Big Mac if $1.5X is the tax! She huffed off and got a manager and had it fixed. I had this happen again the next time I went (different cashier). So I've given up going there. I've had no other issues using them at other McDonald's.:confused3

I got mine pretty quickly, and I almost threw it away too, thinking it was junk mail when it arrived..... I've almost used them all- but every time, I watched the total carefully, and every time it was rung up wrong. every time. no biggie, it was agreat deal (my ds is officially sick of big macs after this:thumbsup2)

I got mine too, same thing happened to me as the other ladies mentioned, the girl insisted that it wasn't free just discounted and showed me a instructional paper on how they were to key it in......still I knew she was wrong so I asked for the manager and she said oh yeah just hit this key, no apology or anything, awful Mcdonalds anyways, so run down, guess that is what you get closer to downtown Atlanta

I got them and put them in my daughter's Christmas stocking. I'll have to ask her if she's had any trouble using them!

Didn't see this deal, but I've purchased from them before and never had any issues. Customer Service might be able to help you.

They are sending out a replacement! Wow, MUCH better than Savemore who never even sends their stuff! :lmao:
