Did Any Other Adult Really Like The Stitch Attraction???

I love it - DD14 and I went on it 3 times on our last trip. She can imitate Stitch perfectly, so she started making Stitch sounds in the dark, when the 'real' Stitch wasn't talking. It was funny to hear the people near us comment about it... :rotfl:

I hated AE because it was too violent for MK - it belonged over at MGM/DS, in my opinion. Or at Universal Studios!

We love Stitch but didn't like the ride at all!! We were disappointed when that was the first ride we went on last year. It scared my kids bad and the seats were very uncomfortable. It will be one we skip this year.

Even my kids were disappointed!!! I kept waiting for something exciting to happen - DS, now 13, said he like Alien Encounter better!!! In fact, he said it was a "cheesy remake"!!!LOL.

Stitch is our favorite character and we couldn't wait to go see the attraction when it opened. What a horrible disappointment (although the chili dog smell is nice!) :sunny:

This was our sentiments exactly. I had done Alien before, so I knew what to expect, but the storyline just plain out stunk (and it wasn't the chilli dog). I thought Stitch looked like a big stuffed animal. My DD 7 liked it, but she loves Stitch. My DD 5 cried after it, and I thought she was scared. No, she was mad, and asked where the "ride" was. I told her it was an attraction that we sat and watched. She didn't want to leave the "arena" as she just wouldn't believe me that it was over. It will be a must do attraction, mostly becuase of my DD 7, but we were very underwhelmed.

I went solo to wdw last month. I really enjoyed Alien but thought Stitch was just ok and fun. He sort grows on you as he is still all over the area.

I remember way back when it was Mission to Mars (I think that was the title)- THAT was a lame ride. I loved AE- it was a huge improvement and it cracked me up, but didn't really seem to have that Disney connection. I like the Stitch show and hope it is around for a while.

PS Pooh is my favorite ride ( even with the cardboard cutoffs).

We have been on the minority in this, but my DW and I both enjoyed the ride. Our DD (5) also enjoyed it a lot.

Make that two of us. DH and I enjoyed Stitch and will ride it again.

My 3yo made us ride it again, and he insisted on all of us doing it with him. He still talks about the burp. He didn't like it as much the 2nd time, another child there started crying when the lights went down and that made him nervious. We all hated it, couldn't belive the wait.

I Really Enjoy Reading all Your Comments !!

Someone mentioned "the ride"...the way you are strapped in you would think you're going somewhere....but no way jose' !
Also, I agree with another poster......it ended and we all looked at each other and said " is that it??" We also felt we were waiting for the show to just get started. Its Just Soooooooooo Silly !!!
I LOVE hearing both sides of this.....
Yes, Stitch is a big money maker, my kids and me all like him, so that doesn't bother me at all the AE is gone.....But I really think it needs major improvements !! I know I'll become an Imagineer ( Now wouldn't that be a awesome job)!
OHANA !! :earboy2: :wave2: :earsboy:
