I CVS'ed and got some pretty good deals on Pampers Swaddlers in the NB size before DS was born. Well, lo and behold he was 9lbs 12oz and wore size 1 from birth. I want to throw them on craigslist but I don't know how much to ask for them. I still have some of the receipts but I bought them in the Spring, so I think the receipts have expired. I paid about $4-5 each on average, and it's not like I'm looking to *make* money on what I paid but I wouldn't mind getting *something* for them.

If you had 9 packs, what would you list them for? I wouldn't expect anyone to buy all 9 packs, I'd split them up. :goodvibes

I'm really no help, but do they have the DryMax in them?

I know a lot of Mama's who are searching for the Pampers without Dry Max so if you play that up you may be able to ask for a little bit more.

I am sure the store would exchange them - seems much easier than craigs list.

My DH is a manager at a CVS, he said return them there... you should be able to get the sizes you need. This is what I would do.

Definitely exchange them for sizes you need!

I have sold diapers on CL for $5 per jumbo. I didn't have receipts for them, and my DD outgrew them before the stockpile was used. I figured that they retail for $10 at Walmart and Target, so 50% is a great savings for someone else.

They actually don't have the Dry Max! I made sure to stock up on the 'old' style. Thankfully DS hasn't had a reaction to the Dry Max. Phew!

Have you tried exchanging them for sizes you can actually use?

I guess I should. I just felt weird because they were the ones that didn't have the Dry Max, so I didn't know if they'd give me a hard time about it since they're the older style. That, and the one manager at our local CVS is a bit of a jerk.

That's what I was thinking... it's just about what I paid so I figured at least I broke even.

I think I'm going to attempt returning them, though... I just need some thick skin before I walk into the store with 9 packs!

I would try returning three packs at a time instead of nine at once. It seems like a more reasonable number.

If that doesn't work, you could consider donating them to a food bank or a Birthright kind of place where they could be given to low income new moms who could use them (you can't buy diapers with foodstamps). Then you can write off their regular price on your taxes as a donation.

Well even if you posted them on craig's list, people are still going to throw their own bargaining offers at you. So if you list them all for say 45-50$, you might have some one pay that much or a few offers for low hits. Or maybe you'll get a few offers to buy just a few packs each.
