I am going to have a baby girl in April! I really want a unique diaper bag. I have looked on Etsy and ebay and can't really find one that I LOVE. I found a few that I like. I cannot justify spending 70-100 dollars on one that I am not completely in love with. I am resorting to finding a pattern and attempting to make my own. I have made some blankets and a few dresses. Not sure I can even do a good job. With that said, do you know where I can get a really good diaper bag pattern? I don't want a tote style diaper bag. I want the traditional shorter and wider style.

Thanks so much!

This is the pattern that I used for my diaper bag

I loved finding a great fabric with coordinating fabric. I picked airplanes and a stripe. there are great fabrics that can be used. It was fairly easy to put together. Alittle overwhelming at first bc there are many pieces but only bc it is lined. I did shorten the shoulder strap quite a bit and it is still long. I have a city mini stroller and it hangs nicely over the handle. (I would shorten it more if i could bc it still hangs too long on the stroller)

Lots of inside pockets too.

I got the pattern on sale at JoAnn Fabrics for $1. The fabric was on sale too-- I think i spent less than $20 on it. It did call for fusable batting but regular batting would have worked too.

Hope this helps!
